In June 2007, the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGSPP) was established as a joint collaboration between the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan. Since then, the school has swiftly become one of Canada’s leading policy schools for educating graduate students and public servants interested in improving public management and creating public value.Today, the school offers five graduate programs (Master of Public Administration, Master of Public Policy, Master of Health Administration, Master of International Trade and the Doctorate in Public Policy), five master's certificates and a number of executive education options.
JSGS faculty members are engaged in research that has a high impact on issues affecting citizens in Saskatchewan, Canada and the global community; and have advanced knowledge related to innovation, science and technology policy, social policy and inequality, and governance.
