AACRERC
The RERC on AAC is a Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center that functions as a collaborative research group dedicated to the development of effective AAC technology. Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) refers to ways (other than speech) that are used to send a message from one person to another. The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (RERC on AAC) is funded under grant H133E140026 from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), located in the Administration for Community Living of the Department of Health and Human Services. The contents do not necessarily represent the policy of NIDILRR.Many of the videos shown here were produced as part of the work of the AAC on RERC, and are shared with the permission of the original creator.
