How did they get the cables across to the other side? That would be interesting to see.

We had the good fortune to visit in May 2018 during the construction at the hydro power plant. Normally much of the water flow is diverted through the power generating station's turbines, but during our visit the entire full flow was going over the falls. Wow! kzitem.info/news/bejne/zGOOp56bfYlprJw

Awesome bridge! I wonder how many tools were dropped in the canyon below...

Very nicely done. Awesome sight to enjoy: both the bridge and the falls. Kudos to everyone involved in making the project come true.

Not very visually complementing to the surrounding environment. They should have used more natural materials.

Public shire could do same job. A 'want' project not a 'need' one. An exclusive organization only the for the rich. Do this project in '3rd' world countries then you're heroes.

Nepal, India, Indonesia and other countries with hills are full of such hanging bridges. They are the cheapest alternatives.

They ruined it with that awful looking chainlink. Couldn't they come up with a prettier looking rail guard?

Great project. There IS hope for mankind. Yes, just a view but this kind of initiative can be used in so many ways. Smart that you used wood as little as possible. Costs far more for aluminum but in the end they wont need to change it every 5-10 years. This IS BC after all.

Wow amazing! I’m wondering how much they needed to raise to make this a reality.

It says 350,000$ .... I think. Which is quite good when you think what they got and if you think that any project is atleast half for materials then all that aluminum etc was just 170,000 ish and the other end was the salaries for those workers for a good month I suspect.
