Barclay Quartermaine - Op Barclay was the WWII allied deception plan, and Quartermaine was a name for a person who was mail-fisted. Besides, the whole wording and tone of the letter is an obvious dig at Savile, who laughed-off his crimes in plain sight.

Jimmy Savile's family have had his gravestone removed along with a commemorative rose tree, as a mark of respect for his victims. It just leaves a small hole and no bush around it. Just the way he liked it.

Fascinating. Did those in the know get kids to write them? Did Savile write them? Whatever, the inuendo is there and he's loving it. Edit: After reading the comments and watching it again it becomes more and more curious. He is definitely making threats aimed at the author/authors. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more shocking.

Berkely Quartermain . - or however you spell his name - was not a child when this letter was written. The childish handwriting in the supposed letter Saville is reading out would never have been Mr. Quartermaine's, not even, I think , when Quartermaine was a child himself . Also, in fact, I would guess he was of a similar age to Saville . Back in 2014 , I had moved out of my flat in Leytonstone and used a friend's lock-up to store my stuff whilst I got myself sorted. It was soon after this that my friend died. At the funeral his son told me it would be ok to keep my stuff in the lock-up until his late father's lease ended ( there was only another 6 weeks on it ) but if I wanted to keep it on I would have to speak to the landlord , a certain Mr. Berkely Quartermain . Other , unrelated acquaintances of mine had some info on Mr. Quartermain , of whom I had previously never heard ; namely that he had long ago used monies from unspecified sources to buy up a lot of properties like railway arches, garages and lock-ups, that he was either from an upper middle class background or maybe instead, that he liked to maintain such an appearance. That he lived in Epping Forest, possibly Chingford ( as in the letter Saville reads out here ) . That he was want to drive a very old classic Bentley limo around and that he had extensive contacts in the worlds of high and low finance , as it were. I gained the impression that he might not be straight - in fact some wanted me to understand that he preferred his men young - although I can only confirm that this was a rumour. I had the privilege of speaking to Mr. Quartermaine over the phone on two occasions . His voice was elderly , poised , deliberative , plummy and rather precisely enunciated . I couldn't tell as I listened to him if it was put on or not and remember afterwards being uncertain as to the authenticity of the delivery - although , for those of you who may never have met a genuine member of the English Upper Classes , I would like you to understand how unlikely and eccentric some of them may seem in their personal manners , even to their compatriots - so I just couldn't be sure . Certainly , he was a business man through and through and I formed a further impression of him as a man not to be messed with. There was an implicit threat in his most banal comments, in the manner as it were of a Bond villain or perhaps Sheer Khan . I had totally forgotten the man's name until tonight when I just followed KZitem down the rabbit hole until I came to this. Imagine my surprise to hear of this very unusually named individual from my nearly forgotten past . In all likelihood , Saville had this letter written and transcribed into childish script so that he could goad Mr Quartermaine , presumably an acquaintance in some scene or another , on live TV . That was " Jimmy The Fixer's " style, after all . All in plain sight . By the way, if memory serves me right , Saville had extensive interests in the Essex / east London clubland scene. I believe he had an interest in the Ilford Island club , amongst others , and that he was closely connected to the Essex night club security scene at certain times . There was a time when I knew some members of that security community and they confirmed the same . Also, they confirmed that he was an untouchable nonce . This would have been the very early 1990's , 20 years before I heard the name ' Berkeley Quartermaine ' . I am sure also that Mr. Quartermaine must be dead by now or otherwise very long lived indeed.

In a court room, every word is recorded and only facts are valid. Comedy is the complete opposite to truth. This is the core of why paedophiles thrive in the entertainment field. Hollywood is built on this. The reason is, the human body feels cured when laughing, but it cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is not. Savile thrived on hypnosis, repeating 3 words in a row and acting like a fool, making you think you are more mature and sensible that him, which boosts your own ego. Trump for example has done a similar approach pretending to be a brash arrogant fool, which he clearly is not. Savile was no fool and got away with murder and abuse for decades by coercion and trickery. The TV in your home, was Saviles favourite tool and in my view ever citizen should become more educated why Television was really created.

Goes without saying that this man was a total piece of shit ... I am getting a little tired, however, of the torrent of people online claiming that they were *always* grossed-out by him - If you're on record as saying that before 2012, fair enough - Otherwise, I don't believe you. There is a long tradition of being a 'professional weirdo' in the UK (think John McCririck, or Ken Dodd), and that is how the vast majority of people bracketed JS.

It may tire you but it's true. I didn't pay too much attention to him. I wouldn't say he grossed me out but he was 100% creepy and I was puzzled by his apparent popularity. He probably wasn't that popular, he was, however, a masterful manipulator, one of the greatest. They are all around us welding their power. We've got to get better at calling them out and stop letting them get away with it but they're so very, very cunning.

I would have thought he got to "vet" each letter before the show, so the fact that he still chose to read it out and cracking that joke seems completely brazen, like he was toying with the authorities and public, like a "catch-me-if-you-can" serial killer taunting the police with notes. Like he was defiantly flaunting his invincibility.

Savile knew magick. It's psychology really. For example think of ''now then, now then, now then'' This is to displace or bamboozle the person or people around. Using the present tense and past in two words in one. There are so many others. His silly phrases and noises were not catchphrases. Steve coogan on an interview explains this ''magick'' Coogan explains how Saville would move his hands to confuse who he's talking to. Coogan knows a lot more and cuts it off. Check out savile in his priest gowns. He was into the devil as much as it goes
