The roads, traffic, robbery, on the plus side the cops are pretty cool there. Going 30 over and he just gave me lil light show while i passed, turned it right back off after i hit my brakes

Nah. I live here. Birmingham is huge. There are nice parts... but there are a few places I hate to go thru. Especially at night. You just don't do it. Those who know, know! Sound like a whole ass war going on right down the road from a damn home depot. And fuck the law. They barely wanna get involved. You don't want that anyways. And that's all ima say.

Growing up, I was always told to avoid Finley Blvd if all possible but I just asked my mom what she thought (she grew up there) and she said West End was always dangerous. Also, not that it matters but we are also a white family.

Birmingham is bad because you have a bunch of young black men and women with no fathers. They look to fill the hole in their lives left by the fathers by joining gangs and abusing drugs and alcohol. The young white people see no hope for the future and just want to go and party at the university of Alabama or Auburn and come back with some bullshit degree they can’t use in a shit city. I had a black friend that I worked with who stepped up and took care of his son and made a huge effort to be in his life! Godbless him because he was the only one I saw doing that.

Its the people you hang around with to be honest. Like if you live in Hoover, Vestavia, Homewood, Alabaster, and more over that way you good thought cause there is not as much violence. But go to Fairfield, Midfield, or Center Point, its crazy ,and i'm saying this as a person who went to school in Fairfield. Those kids and Those people have bad attitudes. So there are good parts and bad parts

Living in Bham was a blast for me and I was really young when I was living there the traffic is horrible though those curvy roads is something serious if you live by the streets then you die by the streets. Don't go to an area where there is a lot of shooting because ifykyk. Overall Bham was fun to live there
