Hi, I am Tom Baxter. I am a professional drone pilot, breaking into the field of ROVs. If you don't know, ROV is short for Remote Operated Vehicle. I am working in a partnership with Blue Robotics, attempting to bring my background of inspection work into the ROV field. Blue Robotics manufactures a highly versatile DIY rover called the BlueROV2. This ROV is shipped out in parts to be assembled by the user. There is an easy to follow assembly guide that walked me through the setup process with relative ease. One major advantage of this product that I love, is that you can integrate after thought technologies, as the system runs on top of a Raspberry Pi computer and open source software such as QGroundControl. On this channel you can join along as I document my trials and tribulations, in pursuit of learning and succeeding as an ROV services provider. I have a steep learning curve to tackle, but I do have a good background of relevant skills and a lot of friends to provide support.
