Well I plugged it in from connection then bolted it on. Turn it on and only the little bulb running light works. Push the bright and nothing works. Unbolt the plastic head lamp again , disconnect the connection flip it around and now the LED Lamp works, but burns out. How do I fix that?

Great video I have the exact same bike. One thing I noticed that I highly recommend you fix is. It appears your front brake line is on the inside of the fork. If it is. Please move it to the outside. If it is left on the inside, it surely will unexpectedly rub on the rotor and damage it.

Further review LIfan assembly instruction recommends the brake line to run on the inside of the fork. It appears based on the location of the rotor the inside routing leaves plenty of room from the rotor. I will keep an eye on this issue. Thanks.ELS

@ScottFish-m2o ii understand what you mean, but I ran mine on the inside. The brake line will rub. It ruined mine. It can and should be ran on the outside. I had to get a replacement. It didn't cut all the way through it, but maybe halfway through. I made that mistake already. It works perfectly fine on the outside. Just trying to be helpful. Thanks for your cool channel.

Personally.. I've been looking at the lifan bikes for a few years now. I love the lycan 250, kpx 250 and the kpm200. They all have different aspects that i love. Plus they are great beginner bikes for a new rider such as myself. Only problem is deciding which one is right for me, for example, i plan on using it to make my daily commute to my workplace which is about a 45 minute drive on the highway where the speed limit is 70 plus there are some hills on the highway. But i also plan on using it for just riding around downtown. I like the accessories available for the lycan since i plan on having saddlebags with trauma kits in them for worst case scenarios... but i prefer the ability to take it off road like the kpm and the kpx

I appreciate your channel. I have a heavily modified Hawk 250 with over 17,000 miles on it and it's been very reliable. I also have 2 Japanese bikes, but if you can wrench on your own bike, and aren't interested in racing, the low to mid-range Chinabike dual sports are excellent for light to moderate trail riding and road riding. If you want to race enduro, GPX is a high-end Chinese brand that provides very robust enduro racing bikes that are street legal (including their two strokes), but you'll end up paying $5-7K for that quality.

I also got myself a Templar X from powersportsmax about six months ago. It’s a big ass bike. I’m 5’6” so it was too tall for me, but I was able to lower it to about 34” by drilling a new hole in the rear shock lower mount and sliding front forks up the triple tree. I have stock carb jetted up to 42/125 + 1mm shim on needle (suggested by Thumper). 2nd gear on tight trails is a monster. Voltage regulator gave out, but powersportsmax sent me a new one after total bike warranty expired. I put a cheapo halogen bulb in the headlight and it’s way better. I think the projector is made for old style.

I picked up the Templar X a little over a year ago. It's a slightly upgraded version of the same bike (6spd, counter balanced, fully adjustable suspension). I was in the market for a CRF300L but was dismayed at the obscene dealer markups so in frustration ordered one of these. The Templar is honestly far better than its price suggests and is quite enjoyable to ride as long as you keep in mind this is a small air cooled 4 stroke. A good statement I've heard about these bikes is that you can either enjoy them for what they are or hate them for what they aren't.

Great way to put it. I hate radiators on bikes.. I free lance through the woods rather then stinking to any kind of trails. So scrub oak here in Pa. is the thing that will poke holes in rads quickly. So being this a short stroke of the 250, is my choice for way back in. I see a lot of guys on line beatn the chit out of these bikes on the street, which these are not made for that... I fig in about 3 mo's they'll be back on posting how a rod came out the side of the case. These engines, every 3 to 4 K means and needs an oil change ...rock on
