Lloyd Parks & We The People, featuring Dean Fraser & the Ras Brass. Every one of these musicians is famous in their own right. The keyboard player, Bubbler Waul, went on to be an awesome producer. Bo Peep played guitar with the Xterminator Band in the 90s - played on Luciano's classics, Bushman's first album etc. Chinna of course played guitar with Bob Marley & The Wailers. Dean Fraser and Nambo are probably the 2 most recorded horn players in Jamaican music, playing on basically everything through the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

We were lucky to have great bands like The Pirates, starting in 1959, and Dr Feelgood in the 70s. There were other balls to the wall revival rockers like Ducks Deluxe, and the Tyla Gang to enjoy too

Шикарно, и каждый удар барабанщика, каждая нота басиста говорит о том, что вы полезли на англосаксов? Будьте добры, получите от англосаксов сполна. Начинают получать. Очень нервенно.

I get it about Mick Green and how great he was, but that singer/bass player doesn't get enough credit.

That's Johnny Spence. Keeping that bassline taut, while singing, at that pace.. Phew! The drummer is Frank Farley. Frank was a *beast* on the kit, and much respected. They created quite a legacy.

My favourite comment (re. the reason why a guitar bass doesn't come close to upright bass): Lee Rocker "well you can't stand on an electric bass"! Hard to argue with.

No group did "in yer face" rock and roll better with the possible exception of Dr Feelgood & it was a fact that Wilko Johnson was greatly influenced by the shamefully underrated Mick Green
