I’m 43. I don’t which one hurts the most; losing my dad to cancer when I was 20 yrs old or losing my mom in 2019 to a brain aneurysm. Here one moment and just like that gone! Nothing can prepare you for something like that. I would give anything to have one more conversation with them. I miss them both everyday. I thank God for blessing me with the best parents!! A Hui Hou! ❤

"Be curious, not judgmental" - profound life wisdom there! As humans, we are fundamentally ignorant. Being judgmental assumes that you know everything of importance about the object of your judgements. Being curious enables you to discover what you don't know - which turns out to be quite a lot!

You can't really do this, though, since it can only be done through our perception. We think through our lenses what the other person may be thinking/feeling. But we can only do this through relating it back to our own experiences.

This is the kind of bullshit uneducated people confuse with wisdom. If college was only a training school to get up early, it would be a completely useless and uneffective school: you can get the habit in less than 3 month in the military (3 weeks for most people, really). Treating education like it has nothing to do with knowledge, complicated theories and application, a lot of know-how to pick up down the line and a certain level of expertise in a specific field, means you're uneducated and don't even suspect the existence of knowledge and learning beyond the basic training anyone could expect from a puppy.

This is in one of the laws of the 48 laws of power great book can be used for protection Good or evil u decide but usually the smart ones are the good ones and the Evil ones think they are smart and always fail because evil always loses in the end the good will prevail always even if sometimes the enemy tricks the populace into thinking that the enemy is the good and rhe good is the enemy
