Good video, glad you got it running. I have a stock '98 Heritage with cv carb and it runs fine never any problems. You may want to do an external breather to keep all that crap out of your air cleaner. I also use sea foam just to keep it running clean.

In Germany I payed 160,-€, which is actually 171 USD. For me the battery loading is another pain in the ass. Removing the battery and pulling out the cable is a horrible idea. I tried to pair this with my Sena, not successful until now. Here the manual seems to bee wrong. It tells your that the LED should be constantly purple in pairing mode, but a video tells me it should blinking purple which is also motet on another chapter of the manual. The are kidding me 😤

We just did my buddy’s 97 rk. We gutted the entire efi harness. Used a Dynatek 2000i. Has 5 wires. Only wire you need is 12v switched from the bike. We used the one that powered the ECM. Had the thing running w the carb in maybe 4-5hrs

Millions of miles on cv carbs long before efi. Tried and true. A well tuned cv will run as good as efi. Takes elevation and temp pretty well too. Can’t go wrong with

You can also use a dremmel or die grinder to remove the material on the inside of the tank.
