Not sure if it makes a difference but Casady was not how his name was spelled. It was spelled Cassidy. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm curious.

Unless there is a water source nearby he did not spend much time there. Horses and people need water, and I don’t see anywhere close by that would provide 10 gallons per horse per day.

I doubt it was BC who carved that name. I'm also a little tired of people creating a false level of fame for a bunch of thieves.... Which is exactly what Butch Cassidy was.... A thief. I'd much rather see some of the history of the law enforcement officials who tracked these thieves down and brought them to justice, or maybe statements from Cassidy's victims, as Cassidy's victims will most certainly not share the current portrayal of a low life scum sucking thief... Robert Leroy Parker.

Why not leave him alone .. what a couple of jerks. The reason he is not rattling is because you are taunting him. "He's not rattling.. don't like that." It is not yours to like or dislike.

The boulders are not yours's to take. Stay on the establish roads and quit destroying the original landscape. Is it really that important to you to keep the camera on yourself rather than the territory/landscape?

I can see how this would be a tough place to get to but it certainly, looking at this video, looks like an almost impossible place to hide in! Assuming the posse got close to the right area.

Yeah, I have no doubt one would carve your name into a rock at the place you go to to "hide out" on the run from the law. So you can find it again, I suppose.

Would you be willing to show it to me if I made my way down there? I knew very little about him until I came across a woman in south Utah who said her distant relative was a member of his Wild Bunch, and took me to the jail they held him in; The town cop loved him and would basically store him there until trouble blew over. Also beautiful rocks, I’ve found loads of agate in places like this!

The same type of writing is in the cache canyon north of Egnar, CO ... down off the Slick Rock. I found it once while gathering stray cattle.. A whole group of names, from men who had camped there amongst the cedars and red rock caves ... perfect place to hide from the whole world .. writings are from J.W. CROWLEY (also found in Rabbig Valley Utah), BLACK SAM (also found in the Book Cliffs in several places), B CASADY (also found down in Cahone and Dove Creek) C W TONSEND and T R MCGREADE (cpl us cavalry) .... The best part about finding these places, is just knowing that I have been able to live just like they did ..... on horseback and free.

Too bad most of what we get is the side of your head with the wind blowing your hair. Then a long closeup of your ear. After minute 7 saw the signatures in cave but wanted to see the areas outside. You panned so fast through that it was a blur. Then back to the side of your head and you said you were headed home.
