In my experience those particular hubs seem to let the most water in, the regular old hubs without the grease nipple hold out water for longer periods therefor lasting season after season, I’ve tried these hubs thinking I was doing my self justice but the fact was they were failing only after a year or two of use Just stick to the regular old sealed hubs

No, it is a complete overkill. Welding that bearing buddy on only ensures that you’ll be bringing that trailer back to him to take it off.

Did you replace the sleeve you removed off the inner axle? I didn’t see it go back on? I don’t think it comes with a universal hub?? Great video!!

If you use Loctite go with BLUE Loctite, not RED. Red is for permanent attachment and has to be removed with Heat.

Welding burns off the galvanized zinc. If anything just tap your cap or bearing buddy with a rubber mallet once in a while

There should be a zerk fitting at the end of the spindle. That is far superior than the Bearing Buddy in my opinion. It pumps grease through both bearings in and out the front. With the bearing buddy you'll have to take the wheel off to replace the grease.

Bearing buddies are not a good idea. People usually add too much grease until it blows out the rear seal.
