Excellent vídeo! I have the roland TD-4KP would work with This module ?
@tjhessmon4327

Great idea, the reason why? Many Roland OEM harnesses are limited in length, making placement of the toms difficult. With this mod, one could incorporate longer tom and cymbal cables, making placement in proper position far easier. Further, if you use your drum module on multiple kits, it saves wear and tear on the multi pin module plug.

Why wreck the OEM harness and end up with a bulky bundle of plugs & sockets hanging out of the back of the module, when instead you could just buy a D type connector and solder whatever cables you like to it?

After I had to tear apart my Alesis Multipad apart to fix a corrupted sd card, I bought this to repace it in my live rig. So simple compared to the SX PRO. I never ever want to have to open it, but really enjoyed watching you take it apart. Get it back together correctly, lol? OMG, I'd have nightmares of forgetting one of those connections then... pad mute groups would have a glitch or where did all the sounds go? Whoa, how do I have 1 screw left? If its anything like my octapad, 12 years, 7 bands and 200 videos later, still no problems!!

I want to change my module to TD-27 but the multicord looks different from td-17 with its snare and ride cables ending in some other jack. So, can you please answer me, do you know, If you can use the multicord from td-17 with td-27? Because I have a ordinardy snare drum with a 6.3 mm jack and I want to use it from the multicord, not from AUX cable. It looks like to me they are the same size, so if anybody know, please help! Thank you

hi, yes it's compatible. The td-27 has a double connection option for snare and ride, USB or regular 6.3 mm jack. www.thomann.de/it/roland_td_9_td_11_td_15_multicore.htm

I added two more rack toms, 2nd hat, and soon will connect some other gear on it. Do you think the Octapad would play alright through this, since it has the 8 pads with individual voices or would I have trade out the auxilary input for the one rack tom? I love the ability to expand on my TD-9 and the voices are sonically equal. I tuned each additional to have low to high pitch...I always like eKits, but now....with all the drum sets and effects and abilities at my finger tips...I love my eKit and love the TMC6. Can't believe that I found one in great shape...it's never going to leave my studio as long as sticks are in my hands. Thanks for posting this.

Hi, if with the octapad you can split the 4 inputs trigger in 8 is the perfect solution. The octapad is a great great machine with a big limitation in the software that don't allow you to import external sounds, but through midi is perfect for drum's plugins.

Thanks for this video. I also own a Roland TMC-6 and the BT-1. What are your settings on the TMC-6 because when I have the BT-1 on the snare drum I always have unwanted triggers coming from the snare. I tried several settings but I can't get a good configuration with the elements that do not trigger between them... thank you.
Hi there. I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger. Thanks for your help.
@edrumnow
Жыл бұрын
Hi, I can't understand the problem, he is using a trigger like ROLAND RT-30HR Head and Rim Trigger right and he is using side stick and rim shot sounds? It could be a settings problem and he has to adjust parameters like "threshold", "sensitivity" and "xtalk cancel".
@calvingudu9237
Жыл бұрын
@@edrumnow Thanks for your response. Please consider that a centre hit and side stick are distinctively different and the drum module understands that and responds well. The problem is the module understanding the 3rd element which is the rim shot. Basically the module cannot differentiate the centre hit and the rim shot as a drummer would strike with the acoustic snare.
@edrumnow
Жыл бұрын
@@calvingudu9237 ok if I'm correct when the drummer plays the rim, the module can't understand when to play rimshot sound or sidestick sound. On the module, on trigger settings page try to: - increase not too mach "sensitivity" - decrease "threshold" - decrease "xtalk cancel" - decrease "retrig cancel" this could help.
