I modify and fix snowmobile. Make them more user friendly. And bring older sled into a more modern era with better performance, front and rear suspention, and more fun to operate.
Spark plug thread cleaner (18mm) and a 3/8" x 6" bolt cut down 1/4". Parts you can find at your local hardware store, and cheaper than the tool!

What clutch pulled would you recommend for a air cooled 550

I had to replace a stub assembly on an 09 Nytro. This is the only clutch torque video i could find where they actually took the primary clutch off and not the secondary.

what if you pre fill the lines with oil and then use the drill to full prime the pump. Thats what i was told to do with my Ski Doo 600 SDI. worked like a charm and less run time without oil

What did you do for the cable setting of the carburetor linkage? Like how far did you thread the cable end in/out?

I had the carbs off so I just manually pulled the cable wide open.

@@snowmobilemodsfixes3264 I meant for the oil pump cable end that goes up to the carbs. Sorry. Just wondering how far in/out you have the oil pump cable threaded

@@guskelman3058 when I have it all together. I have it threaded almost all the way up. Depends on cable stretch. Take your throttle leaver and press it down and it should evenly pull the oil cable as you throttle up. Adjust up or down as needed.
