I don't think this is really an American fish processing plant. Too many odd things here.

People want to criticize the harvesting of food from the ocean, they should be more concerned of the waste from humanity that goes into the ocean that kills fish needlessly, i’m sure most of them do not have a problem eating, they just don’t understand what it takes to feed this world, we need to take care of the largest food sourceOn this planet quit dumping junk in the waterways,Your dog food, cat food, fertilizers that you put on your plants, a lot of it comes from the byproducts of fish, they do not waste any part of these fish.

Just go to Anchorage , AK in early December. Then go to the job center and you will find out about all the seafood processing jobs available...You will need to get a yellow card which is watching a movie and some info. You will get work .If you have never done this before start at a shore based plant like Westword or UNISEA seafoods they will give you plenty of work and the facilities are nice. Plus you will be in Dutch Harbor ,AK...Most of you want to get on a crab boat thats the goal but you need to start off as a processor that has completed work contracts...Many boat captains are located in Dutch and it a very small town so dont mess up.You can also make real good money working for the long shoremans union. Just go to Dutch Harbor you will make money if you like to work. If by chance you have a CDL YOU CAN BANK SOME CASH

I've worked at a shore based processing center in Naknek, AK at Leader Creek and was thinking of going back maybe get on a crab boat but never did that. However, starting tomorrow I am starting CDL classes to get my CDL! I hope you see this comment two years after you orignionally posted because I would like to know about CDL work in Alaska. I'm going to google it.
