I don't get why the handlebar controls aren't illuminated. I hit my horn sometimes when looking for turn signal. Especially out in the country in pitch black

I just bought a 2003 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic 100 year anniversary pearl white stage 4 103 screamin Eagle, doing some minor cosmetic restoration. if you want to lift your handle bars try some risers as for the lights pro beam LED made in Texas.

In Dec 2019 I bought a 2014 Street Glide Special with 30,000 miles on her for $10,500 in SW Florida. It's color is mysterious red sunglow, it's looks and rides showroom new. No one does paint and chrome like Harley-Davidson.

I'm researching a streetglide now...I'm 5'11. I have yet to get on one but I am concerned with that fairing blocking some vision of the road. I know you "look ahead" when riding but I feel there are scenarios when a complete view of the road is crucial...

I'm 5'7" and can see fine trough the stock shield. If you have a concern about seeing through it you can buy a clear windshield in many different sizes.

just put on the screaming eagle slip ons, no intake adjustments need to be made and the sound is SO much better than the stock corked up pipes and you and the passenger can still hear the stereo just fine...the gear indicator is a nice touch absolutely effortless cruising at 80+ where my Heritage 88, 5 speed would be huffing and puffing over 80... of course I always observe the speed limit officer, all that being said, if I was much younger I would be riding a V-Rod, that sub 1200cc water cooled Porsche motor is amazing (I know , not classic Harley) such a shame more people didn't discover how great they were/are RIP Harley discontinued a truly great motorcycle...

In 2016 I looked at the 2015 Street Glide, was a nice bike but I ended up going with the 2016 Victory Magnum, which is my opinion is better looking and has a better engine, i love the 21" front wheel an the slammed rear end, looks amazing.. It's too bad Victory ceased operations but shit happens, I have a couple Victory, my other is an 07 Jackpot Ness edition and both are awesome. Also have a few Indian Chief's and a couple Yamaha v-star's which i also like. I find every time i look at a Harley, i always find something i like more when i look past just Harley.

I'm on the fence between a Victory Cross Country and a HD Street Glide. The Victory has more power, and it feels better to me. I'm just concerned about them being out of business.

@@shotgunscott I would not get a street glide that is pre 2014 as they bikes were before Rushmore. I love my Cross Country and Magnum but I also like the Street Glide. I would not worry about parts, they will be made until 2027 anyway so you will find stock, but it will get harder to find after market for a Victory

@@referenceplz5547 Very good question! I purposefully didn’t want the street glide because of that same reason. I truly wanted a road glide but I test road a few and discovered it wasn’t bad at all so I jumped on this 14 for 10, 900. My first bike ever, 1,000 mile later, I’m very pleased!
