Any idea if that is the same sprocket bolt pattern for a SSR 189?

I bought the 300cc one Great bike but with my experience as a rider the bikes stock behavior really seems inclined to Enduro style riding The gears are short and torqy very responsive short gears and a bit wider comfier seat for sitting more than standing My recommendations for track use would be tunning your suspension to your liking and getting a rear sprocket change I feel that the gears are pretty short and often out of a corner I run out of gear before a jump and feel forced to either slow down a bit to shift or rocket gas out of it wich is dangerous as you could nose dive if you run out of gear

@@jasonmanasco6789 Well I ordered a 52T which matches the new SSR manual. Since the 2022/2023 is the same ZS engine and 6 speed gear box, I want to see why they switched to 13/52 in the manual. I suspect it was to move it from what they saw as a MX bike to a trail bike. Also, one of the "upgrades" I did was switch to an NGK 7411 spark plug a few months back, since I'm fundamentally opposed to Champion plugs. I think the bike starts quicker and runs idle better. I picked up like 4 of them from Rockauto for about $5 each...

A lot of the parts are for a 2016 crf250r. But you will have to put 2016 crf250r radiator shrouds on it to use the graphics kit. They are inexpesive and bolt right up to your factory holes and look way better

I bought the ssr300s back in January of 2021, bought it new . Not a whole lot of hours on it now, 40 hrs total. Runs great. I did have to replace 2 gaskets in the carb and take a link out the chain. Thanks for the videos ! I noticed on 1 other of your videos about the oil change. You have 1 reusable filters on yours , I have 2 on mine. I also added a fuel mixture screw and went up on the main jet, it didn't act right after landing a jump., runs great now

11:20 lol, ''..messed with needles, never rode right again..'' Sounds like my carb experiences haha. One thing though, on my pit bike, the dealer/manual said something about 4 turns out +-, it ran like crap, I finally experimented quite a bit, and got it to run perfectly with the air screw adjust, all the way in..and then just barely out. Been running great for hundreds of hours since, no smoke, or hick ups. I'm tending to feel like that lectron is nothing more than a good sales pitch. But what year is your bike? Do you have the pumper carb or do you know? Last question; I don't know what level rider you are, but for what I do I need to be able to pop the front wheel off the ground with ease based on the engine torque for getting over logs, boulders etc, can this bike do that, or do you have to whiskey throttle it to get there?
@zackyzulazhar8164
2 жыл бұрын

I have the 189 and love it but I’m eyeballing the 300 this year. Is there a big difference in handling between the 189 and 300? I can out run most other trail bikes on my 189, very nimble and tons of low end torque for climbing. My 13 yr old grew his TTR 125 and is now riding the 189, guess it’s time for me to upgrade ! 😂
