We need a 1:1 replica of her whistles so we could hear her true voice with steam

They should have saved the Olympic and made her a museum ship to honor both the Titanic and Britannic.

The only problem is steam ship whistles sound very different blown with compressed air. for example compare how the air blown whistle on the preserved liner Queen Mary sounds to how it sounds in archive footage being blown by steam. So you're not really hearing what the Titanic actually would have sounded like on these air blown tests. I do wish someone could build an exact replica and blow it on steam some day so we could hear Titanic's actual voice.

Bollocks, put steam in the ruddy thing at specified pressure, eventhough its been under water for so long. England made things to last, take a few concrete pills and blow the thing at 200 pound sarturated steam pressure 😂

I simply don't understand why the TITANIC's Steam Horns and Steam Whistles were not used on the night of the TITANIC disaster in 1912. It can be heard at least 18 MILES TO THE GROUND. The STEAMER CALIFORNIAN was only 12 miles from the TITANIC. They only tried to send a Morse Distress signal with light signals, which meant nothing due to the COLD air caused by the Labrador current on the clear, calm OCEAN. The stars twinkled as the cold and warm air met and vibrated. This wonderful TITANIC horn sound should have been used as an EMERGENCY SIGNAL because the sound of the R.M.S TITANIC Steam Horn is beautiful, and it could have been heard for MILES as the water also conducts the sound brilliantly.

Its not the same with presured air and steam but you can blame em a 100 year old whistle is impossible to blow with hot steam without causing critical damage

I had the honor of hearing the voice of Titanic when our friends gave us tickets to the St. Paul Minnesota Titanic exhibit. They expected 2,000 people and 10,000 showed up. The line at the women's room was so long that moms were bringing their daughters into the men's room when they could not wait any longer. The exhibit was amazing with all the artifacts including the “Big Piece”. The days actively concluded with two 10-second blasts which was the first time that Titanic's whistles were heard publicly in 87 years.

These ocean lines look imposing, but really they are far too big. If Titanic had been smaller and without the unnecessary weight of a fake funnel, it would have been easier to steer and would have missed the iceberg. Fact.
