No one cares about Fliteboard. Lift foils, are unbeatable as far as customer service and wing options. And who is Mark? Lol

Nice. I'd like to know more about how it's built. The mast/mount stability will be critical with all the weight on it. On the quick look torn between this and Lifts idea which is a "life raft" type inflatable that fits around the hardboard. This Flite seems a "better" solution, but then you're tied to the "large" inflatable board versus going smaller as you get better as most people do. Where Lift's you take off the inflatable part and have your "non beginner' board. hmmm

I reside down in San Diego. If I order a Fliteboard online can I just drive up to Newport Beach and pick it up, avoiding shipping cost? Do you have inventory onhand, or have a showroom, and can I buy directly from you? In San Diego there is a Fliteschool that will deduct the cost of a $300 lesson from my bottom line when I purchase a Fliteboard, you would honor that coupon? Thanks in advance.

Nice review. Don’t forget: the front wing bolts require 16NM of torque! You need a torque wrench. Other bolts are 6NM, as normal.

Great ! To clarify, the Ultra L2 is easier to get on plane because of the length and better weight distribution, despite its lower volume ?

I’ve found that if you don’t “squeeze” the trigger with your finger, but position the controller deep in your hand so the base of your index finger actually compresses the trigger, the controller literally disappears in your hand during the ride. No more trigger finger numbness. Sort of like making the ok symbol with your hand, 👌, with the trigger at the base of the index finger, works WAY better than using the tip of your finger. Then just close all your fingers on the controller in a nice relaxed closed hand grip. The controller seemed too small to me at the first, but now I see the genius in the design. This works because you use gears to change speeds, not the trigger. And by being deep in the hand, your thumb has better access to the plus and minus buttons for gear changes. Hope this helps!

I'm interested in how the MN feels in your hand given the constant unnatural squeeze motion and difficulty of changing fingers etc. I have had a right hand wrist injury in my past. The regular one hurts this hand given the time you are squeezing the trigger. I have switched to my left hand which is much better but not perfect.

Amazing review!😍 We just received our flite air, but we faced a problem with remote control disconnection, as soon as you get up on the board and the board gets a bit in the water it disconnects with the remote control, so we weren’t able to ride this e foil. Maybe you have any tips on what the problem may be?

Great review and awesome to see more options available. I think whats important is how and why Flite wings are designed. As Sam mentioned, they are designed with forward propulsion and body mechanics in mind so that the wings do a lot of the work from micro movements to macro responses. The wings along with the unibody fuselage is what makes Fliteboards stable, smooth, and responsive… but it’s great to at least have mods and options! Great review, Sam. Waiting for your Prop vs Jet review!
