Thank you. That was truly a great post and a great lick. I’ve plaid a long time but more so rhythm and bass and I’m just getting into licks but Clapton is a long time favorite. Your teaching method as well as the speed and pace. Greatly appreciated as I love blues also.

those little licks you did afterwards are really nice, would be great to see you do a mini lesson on them. the main lesson was great, and one gets to learn the exact Clapton phrasing, but then the extension into improvisation that you did at the end are worthy of a separate lesson IMO. thank you.

Thank you! Glad I could help! I will try to elaborate on those licks at the end in future videos.

Mike, your teaching style rocks. This is exactly how I learn a solo. I have a slow down device, but usually don't use it. Instead, picking out lines note-by-note. More Clapton!!!

Thank you for the kind words and sorry for the (extremely) late reply! I've recently relocated and lost my ability to shoot lessons to the standard and quality that I would prefer. But there's some changes on the horizon that may allow me to start back up again, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Does it pop like that when you turn it on and and off? Maybe it was just your rig? Sounds neat-o, that much we know.

It probably had a little to do with how my rig was set up. Also, because of the way I had some of the recording equipment set up, I had to reach awkwardly to click the pedal by hand and because I wasn't depressing the switch as smooth as possible I think that caused some of it as well. When it's on the floor on my board and I can engage it by foot, it's much more smooth without popping or clicking in any distracting way. Very neat indeed for such a simple pedal!
