I heard just only one by itself can do about 150 people

Question.. can I connect my QSC mixer to it?
@tdunndy
Ай бұрын
It has 2 XLR inputs (they also double as 1/4 inch inputs) so as long as your mixer has XLR or 1/4” outputs, it should work.

Great video bro! So even at the far distance you were at, could you still feel the bass a bit?
@tdunndy
Ай бұрын
The bass was subtle at a distance, but the mids to highs were extremely prominent. Definitely didn’t feel jarring the closer you got.

I just picked up a couple of these with high expectations….and they are better than I expected! Most gigs I just take one of them …and get tons of compliments every time.

When playing two of these .. I assume it’s playing in Mono instead of stereo? .. great review 👏
@tdunndy

Yes, single one of these is mono, two together cover a HUGE amount of space and can give you the stereo image.

The way of presentation is super, but I'm disappointed because you didn't play more good music.

I appreciate it! I didn’t want to take too much time on the music and more on the range as I didn’t know how well it would translate.

Great review! I'm strongly considering selling all my Mackie and Yamaha equipment to moving to the Bose L1 16's. I occasionally do weddings and was thinking of the same setups for ceremonies and the receptions...I need something simple and easy to move around but don't want to give up any sound quality.

I would 1000% suggest getting these for weddings. Because they have a 180 degree spread, you can position 2 back to back and cover pretty much any indoor (and majority of outdoor venues) with sound. I used them back to back at a baseball field park with 4 baseball fields being used for kickball and my speakers covered all of them (except a little bit of one because of a building in the way)

Great review! I recently bought the Bose 900 soundbar for my TV and it sounds amazing, it has airplay so I use my MacBook to play music as well. It gets loud for being just a soundbar. I'm thinking of purchasing an L1 Pro 16 down the road. Cheers!

Best demo I’ve seen thus far. The most important thing you’re doing is talking while cranking knob to give the listeners an idea of how loud it is compared to your voice. 😎

Thank you so much! I’d love to do a test if several PA speakers with Smaart to really test the differences at a numerical standpoint but I think there’s already videos out there on that.

@@tdunndy I have an evolve 50 electro voice. It claims 127db. I have a Bose L1 model 2. It says 117db. This Bose throws sound waaay farther and is louder in my opinion. I’m thinking about getting the pro16. Did u ever consider the pro32??
