Thanks for the info. I took turkey tail tea(2 small cups) for the first time and chewed a tiny amount. After that I felt my body cells to be calm , but I had a die off symptoms, very severe for first 2 days and less and less with time. I did not took anymore TT, but will again try next month but only one to two tablespoon kind of micro dose. Is it common to have die off symptoms when taking TT for first time ???

Love the toots! I'm trying to identify a newcomer to my garden and sadly, I think it must be dead nettle, not this cutie. Thanks for the fun video!

The ones I found have a slightly yellow tinge on the white underside. Is this a lookalike?

That probably just means it’s getting past its prime. It’s best to get them when they are white, but-as long as the holes are there it’s a Turkey Tail. 😉

What studies did you get this information from? I think there's much agreement in the scientific community that antioxidants don't neccesarily are good, and that that as well as "adaptogen" are more marketing buzzwords than anything else. That they "flush toxins" also sounds suspicious to me, as our liver does all the detoxing we need.

Oh NINA and Ohhh Dear Readers, your pictures of Sweden are so much the same flowers as SOUTHEAST Alaska where I live (Juneau) . The (Sitka)roses, fireweed, lupines, and so many more wildflowers grow here and delightfully guide us through our spring and summer . Juneau has a world class Arboretum as well. And the Shrine of St Therese has year round visitors also with large groomed gardens. I invite anyone thinking about a visit for the beauty of our flowers.. just DO IT!!! these roses are amazing and in many areas. Thank you for your posts, Nina, and sharing your travels with us!! I will be going to Chile and Argentina in the 'spring' ... November 2023 ..will be checking out their flora and fauna(aka bird nerding, LOL). Happy end of summer days!!!
