Fantastic review. I got a questión. I'm looking for a rockabilly guitar with the classic bright, high-pitched Gresth sound. Which do you think is more appropriate for that, the G2622 or the G5655T? Thanks.

Help!! I just purchased the head rush FRFR 112 powered speaker and I have a kemper powered rack. From what I saw in the video these are compatible. I just wanted to clarify. My other choice was a purchasing a non-powered Kemper Kabinet. All new to me and thanks for any help you can share ! 🙌

Best Kemper videos on YT by far. 🥇🤘 I'd love to hear Dan setup a Hendrix Machine Gun tone using the Fuzz plus Rotary or Phaser Vibe, etc....he would nail it.

What a fantastic demo! I slightly prefer the vintage. But I think if you took off the red tape I'd be stumped.

Yeah, I was really confused when I first got it. It really did not sound particularly good to me. My goal was to run it into my already existing cabinets, but it always sounded “rounded off“. I could never get it to be tight and responsive, no matter what profile and cabinets choice I used. Generally speaking, I would turn the cabinet emulation off. But since then I have come to understand that the product really is not designed to match your two amplifiers, sitting right next to them as they are with me. They are a products within themselves. I have since gotten a matrix FRFR 2 x 12 speaker cabinet. But then proceeded to have the same problem. This was all up until I figured out that there is a setting on my powered unit that is supposed to emulate their proprietary KONE. Well that setting has to be turned on if using any kind of FRFR set up. My powered unit, of course has a power amp inside so I don’t have to use a powered FRFR cab, which of course mine is not. But ever since I turned that setting on, all of a sudden the whole rig sounded like an actual guitar amplifier and cabinet rig. Alice and tight and good

Great video. Thank you. Kemper Newbie here. Can anyone provide me with instructions as to how to turn power amp off on a powered Kemper unit so I can connect to a powered frfr unit. I’ve ended up with two powered units and want to avoid a disaster. Thanks.

Great video! Picks are the most overlooked piece of gear. People don’t realize the opportunity different picks unlock. Why did you find the 1mm nylon so hard to play? Isn’t nylon usually softer and more bendable than the equivalent delrin or tortex pick? How’d you like the 0.88 from your vid? I’ve been ignoring cheapo Dunlop nylons my whole life because they’re ugly and a whole different feel but I’ve really started enjoying the sound of the thinner ones.

From pictures on Headrush's website, it looks like they have moved where the jacks are on the back so it won't have the issue with having to flip it upside down to avoid cables touching the floor.

I used to wire my Strat's to one volume bridge pickup only, then a second volume to mid and neck pickups, then a master tone control. No drilling of extra holes for switches needed, just roll the volume on the bridge pickup up or down as needed.

I've always liked the out of phase pickup mod. But only if it's a Les Paul type of wiring with separate volume controls for each pickup. Then you can vary the amount of "quack" in the sound. 😁

You can wire up a switch to let you change the potentiometer value by switching in a resistor parallel to the pot. If you have a 500k pot and swith a 500k resistor into parallel then the result is a 250k pot. The formula is Rt = 1/( 1/R1 + 1/R2 ... +1/Rn) A 1M ohm pot and resister would give 500k, with 2 resistors 333k and with 3 x 1m resistors parallel to it you get 250k so if you fancy installing a 4 way switch you can get a range of tones from that switch.

I have one. It’s a great alternative to a Strat. It sounds different in a good way to a Strat so it’s adding to one’s palette. I’d prefer a slight deeper C shape neck. The tremelo system took a little get used to as it’s a non looking nut Floyd Rose.

I want to love the GT1k Core. I love its features, but have had horrible issues with noise and degradation of signal using it in 4cm with my EVH Stealth. As soon as I engage the loops it gets a loud high pitched whine and terrible noise added to the signal. It isn't gound loop. It doesn't happen if I run direct from the core's output into the front of the am- only with the loops engaged. Built in noise gates don't help. Odd thing is if I add a mastering fx block (only works on the rock setting) then all that noise disappears. I gooogled the problem and I'm not the only one - the forums were filled with people with the same issue. I want to love it but if I can't figure out and fix the issue I think I may have to move away and try out the Fractal.

Any thoughts on which of the Belle and Tumnus would work better with Channel 2 (BE style) on the Friedman IR-X? To be an in-between sound from the base channel to the boost channel? Some tonal coloration is ok, but not too much.
