Batsman could of left it, not played a shot and it would have been a wide.

You know you’ve screwed up when even the umpire hangs his head in shame with your team mate lol, well done lad lol 😎👍👅

Should have been called a no ball...couldn't get much wider...but of course you can get 'out' on a no ball if you choose to go for it 🤣

What nonsense . You can only be out off a no ball by hitting the ball twice , obstructing the field or run out . Umpire , obviously , can only call wide once it has passed the batsman . In this case ball did not pass batsman because he hit it !

You can be run out of a no ball but you can't be caught, bowled or lbw.

Yeah, but the batter walked. He should have stood his ground and waited for the decision.

More nonsense . The laws say nothing about where the ball pitches in deciding whether it is a no ball . It’s all about whether it is fair at the point of delivery ( not overstepping , correct number of fielders in legal position , not hitting stumps at non- strikers end etc ) . Once the delivery is fair it cannot later be called no- ball .

@@anthonynewey3821 From section 21.7 of the Laws of Cricket. The umpire shall call and signal No ball if a ball which he/she considers to have been delivered, without having previously touched bat or person of the striker ... - pitches wholly or partially off the pitch as defined in Law 6.1 (Area of pitch) before it reaches the line of the striker’s wicket. When a non-turf pitch is being used, this will apply to any ball that wholly or partially pitches off the artificial surface.
