I do none of these lol - my favorite brownie recipe of all time is made on the stove. You melt the butter & sugar with an unsweetened baking chocolate bar. After removing from heat, you add the sugar, then eggs & vanilla, and finish off with some semisweet chocolate chips before baking. If you’re someone who loves dark chocolate & a super rich, fudgey texture (like Godiva brownies), this one’s for you! You definitely wanna eat them with a glass of milk or some extra dry champagne because they are riiiiich lol.

If you want to reduce gluten development, you can also add less gluten by way of using cake flour instead of AP.

Except crispy, hard crusts suck. It's dry and crumbles and makes a mess. I get bread that's harder to bite and sometimes even digs into my mouth.

Ah interesting. I don't do mine like that 😅 I first melt butter with chocolate (actual chocolate, not powder good gracious) then add sugar, flour, and eggs one by one. Then I do the trick of plunging the plaque into cold water right when it's out of the oven to have the crispy outside and soft inside
