Or,. You could just pick up used tires at the Pick-A-Part for 20$ each if you pull them off yourself, and sleep with a clear conscience..

As long as it's not going on the road but staying on private property (like small farm equipment or a wheelbarrow), I think this is a clever cosmetic fix.

Perfect example of why you never trust a word anyone trying to sell you something is telling you. Do your research on what you are buying and do your own inspections or have a pro inspect it for you before buying. Majority of people suck ass

Well im gonna put this to the safety test! I got 12 ply low boy mobile home trailer tires on a spider rim. The psi is 90psi! 😳😳😳. Ill let u know how they handle at 60mph with over a ton of weight. I got a utility trailer with this axle and wheels. Very strong! Supposed to be anyway👌😂🤞🤞 i already fixed a leak in one innertube. Les swhawb qouted me over $400 for one wheel! Wtf. I bought the whole trailer for $225. Haha

I have to laugh at some of the comments. He used the very bad tire as an example and for his purpose its perfectly fine. Tires rarely fail on the side wall. They are pretty tough and if one has minor cracks, why not. I think its a great idea. I have snow blower tires full of cracks, no tube, and I sprayed some soapy water and they leaked everywhere. Snowblower tires are pretty shitty and cheap.

By observing the tire he used as an example... looks like a old farm truck tire... or equivalent... not likely have to worry about an accident from high speed for all those "overly" concerned.

Brilliant solution mate. I'ts amazing the number of negative comments by all those small minded people that just can't think for themselves and parrot all the no no's in life. If selling the vehicle then inform the buyer of what you have done for cosmetic reasons. Thanks for a top shelf video, and all the best from New Rochelle N.Y,

If you tell the buyer that you had to hide the cracks in the tires, wouldn't it be easier and better to just not cover the cracks in the tires? In my opinion, you're the one with the small mind.

I would only do this to make the tires on one of my utility trailers or beater truck that I only drive locally. Would get new tires for my daily transportation. As for selling a vehicle I would just clean them with tire cleaner then the buyer can decide for himself.

I doubt there is a way to actually fix a tire like this. I'm sure the belts and everything under the surface are fine however that rubber might start to separate from the belts over time. I seriously doubt a tire like this would have a catastrophic failure. In my experience some of the rubber might start to separate and make a flap. So you'll probably see it if you are someone who actually works on your vehicles and inspects things regularly. If I couldn't afford to buy new tires I sure wouldn't be afraid to drive on tires like this. I would inspect them every few days and keep my speed under 70mph though. In the case of being poor I might do something like this for cosmetics and if anything sealing out sand and dirt might prevent further damage. That's my 2¢.

all these people on here saying this guy is mad doing this cover up to cracked tyres well when i took my car in for an mot all my tyres had cracks in them but all had loads of tread on them and the mot station did not fail the car they just put advisories for the tyres now if it was dangerous the car would of failed its mot .i think the worse that can happen with cracked tyres is they will go down i'd say its safe to use a car locally at no more than 40 to 50 miles an hour but i would'nt like to drive a car with cracked tyres at high speed on a motor way
