This is super cool and impressive made from scratch. I really wanted to do something like this but figured it was just too much work trying to get something equivalent or better than RC cars out there which are able to tackle nearly any terrain. Unfortunately those are around $400-$500 though.. Either way it's kind of a slap in the face when doing something like this, getting real excited about it, then seeing that it might get stuck in slightly tall grass. That happens to any car of mine that isn't getting way more than average ground clearance. I think with some clever servo arms something like this could be made to get itself "unstuck" though. Front and rear diff locking seems to really help but then you really do need a super legit and full featured chassis and suspension.

First of all, thank you very much for producing my design. It felt so good to see someone do my open source project. I can say this for electronic design. I tried to be as descriptive as I could. The connector system may have been a little confusing. The reason why I use the connector system is that it is easy to assemble and that someone who wants to make design changes in the future can change it more easily.
