First, I’ve asked many people and they aren’t really understanding my question. Please help me figure this out. :( I do not get how each output terminal of the bug zapper’s transformer are able to shock and not shock the battery’s case (before wiring it directly to the battery case because that is how the guy in the video solves the issue). I also do not understand why the strap that charges the guy’s leg is wired to be after the bug zapper & not the 7 stage voltage multiplier. Why does the voltage multiplier have a ground and then nothing on the other output. Wouldn’t the strap go on the opposite side of where the ground symbol is? How does this charge the guy with static charge exactly in general? Wouldn’t you normal need, in simplification, a high voltage source that connects to the guy, then ground to the ground?

Hi, I've tried using ioniser from an ozone generator. In the unit, there are two 12v ioniser units. I've tried one straight to battery pack and can't get a spark. I have been given a high voltage generator to use. As soon as it's near contact, it shows the spark. Seems a bit over the top. Is this okay to use?

I'm still around lol. And I certainly have no shortage of project ideas. I do unfortunately have a severe lack of time being an undergrad engineering student. Although I'm set to graduate in a few months so maybe I'll have more time to start making videos again.

Hi Partial Science; I have gathered all the components; I know they are drowning out the comments section so I hope you see this; I may need guidance on building this to alleviate what I cannot say on here -- how long many times do I use the device; how long does it last; do I have to make new ones; and how long approximately before the 'internal tech' is destroyed; if you can please answer these questions for me. I thank you kindly for any help you can give me.

I bought a skeeter swatter to try and make this but mine is a little different. I don't know much on small electronics beyond a car stereo so I could use a little help. I have the ground from the battery going through a switch then to pcb. Hot goes from battery to pcb. The output side has three wires. One white and two green which color is just a color. This swatter calls for 2 D cell. If more info is needed I'll disassemble it when I get back home to try and I.D. components each wire is coming from

Finally I've assembled my first prototype of this. My designed changed a lot along the way and now it's on my arm, concealed inside a brace with a grounding wire that runs down my body to my shoe, but it still works the same. I decided to use a slide switch instead of push button to turn it on and off since I still wanted it to be hands free when on but I couldn't use the push button since the device was no longer under my toes and a slide switch just seemed like the safest option to go with. Took me so long to gather all the parts, especially the capacitors, but I'm so happy I have my first finished prototype of this as I've been dreaming of it for years ever since I saw this video. I also gained a 3D printer since last year so that also changed my design a lot and allowed for easier attaching of parts to the brace. Wish you would upload more because this channel has really impacted me a lot.

Now working on a "Mark II" that will go instead around the calf of the leg instead of the arm to conceal it better and will hopefully try to use Bluetooth to turn it on and off from a bracelet to make it very low-profile.

Hey man, congrats on getting your first prototype to work! That's super cool! Like I mentioned in the video this project was based off of a design from the channel nighthawkinlight. And that video is what got me into electronics in the first place. So it means a lot to me that I was able to pay it forward and have that same effect for someone else. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to film while in college, but I've definitely got some projects I want to make videos about! Hopefully I'll have the time eventually. Anyway, thanks for the kind words, it really does mean a lot. And congrats again. Keep on building stuff!

Can you give me advice please. I used hv ceramic capacitors on me ignition coil for bether staring me engine in winter. The problem is me old Delco 12 si alternator is effected be those capacitors. Oddly enough the charging light wont go off unless I rev the engine so it seams me starting charge from the alternator isnt 1k rpm it now around 3-4 k rpm . So what can I do to prevent the voltage regulator inside the alternator to interact with those capacitors. Peopel call it plasma ignition but its just frequency or voltage multiplier . I hoppe you can help me understand that regulator how it works it has only 1 ic chip inside and I belive 1 or 2 tiny capacitors nothing ells controls the alternator . Thats the only problem I have so fare baterry is ok ,starter motor spins faster, bether engine start, smuther engine evry thing ells is ok only problem is the alternator it looks like the diode in the dashboard is bypassed . So hoppe some one can help me understand how resistors and capacitors can interact with alternator or if posibly their starting charge can be controled some how manuali .
