Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens
Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens is one of the region’s great horticultural and environmental assets. As a botanical garden, the Arboretum maintains a collection of trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and ferns in a tranquil, naturalistic landscape. In addition, the Arboretum features an accredited, world-class collection of rhododendrons and azaleas from across the globe. The Arboretum is comprised of 48 acres of gardens and woodland, with 1.2 miles of trails.The gardens are free of an admission fee and are open every day of the week. Hours vary seasonally:
March 15 - April 30, from 9 am - 7 pm
May 1 - August 31, from 9 am - 8 pm
September 1 - 30, from 9 am - 7 pm
October 1 - March 14, from 9 am - 5 pm
