Could you imagine someone with the ⚾️⚾️ to walk 2 guy just in order to face “01” Barry Bonds??? But what’s makes this even crazier to think about is as the Legend tells it, Josh Gibson was a much better hitter than Barry Bonds. He had more power and he hit for a higher avg than Bonds. Barry possibly could’ve been a better base stealer than Josh but heII I wouldn’t even doubt that was wrong either. I’m guessing when you avg 2🌛shots 🚀🚀a game 🏟️ for an entire season, you’re probably more concerned about jogging around the bases than stealing them. Dam.

The true tragedy here is that there isn’t any actual game footage or broadcast coverage to back these men up. All we have today is just the memories that will be passed down through the generations.

Satchel Paige was a treasure. Can you imagine a personality like that in today's baseball? Great stuff, greater mind and the confidence of a man who knows he's the best. I wish I could have seen him play.

Man something in me just cant believe that josh just struck out. His legend is too legendary. I believe in some days the hunter gets its meal and somedays the prey gets away.
