I'm planning to convert my car into a camper, so it will really help if you could do an in-depth video on how to setup the wiring, since I'm planning to have a solar mounted on the roof and also having installed an alternator charger. Also I want a setup that's kinda almost the same as you, feel that 200 AH battery is enough for me, I'm not an electrician and never done wiring so you get my point, it can be scary for someone like me, worried that I might do something which could be a dangerous fire hazard. Anyways, I love your videos! <3

Nice work on the bed. You should have primed the hub caps before spray painting. That paint is gonna wash/peel right off!

Mate did you get this on Autotrader? I live in Bangkok at the moment and Toyota Hiaces are EVERYWHERE, they are super popular, but in UK they seem to be very rare. But whenever i see one, i think the ceiling height is nice, and isnt as bulky as a sprinter/transit.

EDIT: Dam i see you're in Australia not UK lol. That explains it, Toyota is more dominant out here!

I'm about to complete conversion of same van in new Zealand for first time. But I'm not rea😢 recording it. I'm doing it with really difficult conditions, no knowledge in building and construction so I can't relax enough to film. I'm not enjoying this process but doing it as I want to travel but also learning these skills for survival purposes

Is it essential to remove the existing floor? Could you just use timber look vinyl over it? (For someone not aiming for a top end look, practical, easy and budget is my aim)

I think I would have at least put some insulation behind the boards in the window. The glass + black color is going to be hella hot.

You got an actual bun with your sausage! In Queensland we only ever get it with a piece of bread.

Trust me it's so much better with the bread 😅

I’m one of your global subscribers, unfortunately the Toyota Hi Ace is not available in the USA, greetings from the USA. We have the Toyota Sienna van in the USA, I don’t know how it compares to the HI ACE in terms of size etc., what are the dimensions of your van? What year is your van. I’m actually interested in building out a box truck rather than a van . Interesting content

Nice work again. Be careful of resting relatively heavy objects on the solar panels (drill perhaps). Might damage them...

Some people just love to post gibberish. A drill is a relatively heavy object?? They’re designed to resist 50mph hail strikes. He didn’t throw the drill onto the panel, rested it on the panel. You’re a tool. 😂

Nice work. Could have flattened those raised sections under the lip to give an easier seal with less filling, but it worked out, I guess

Nice work, Connor! The Commuter Hiace is the most expensive Hiace in my country (Jamaica) and highly sought after. Looking forward to the rest of the build. Any link to that camera kit??

Thankyou, the prices here in Australia are also quite high! But totally worth it from my experiences. Here's a link to the company who makes them: au.wolfbox.com/

Hi, how did you manage to get it engineered? Removing the seats I was told the seat bolt holes need to be welded and inspected, or are you keeping it registered with the original seating capacity?
