What a wonderful actress, so good you would think it was real, that is how you really act.

Since I could not stop for , Death he kindly stopped for me , The carriage held , But just ourselves , And Immortality . He drove slow - he knew no haste , and I had put away my labors and my leisures for his civility . The air grew dense and cool , As only gossamer my gown my tippet only tool . We passed the ring where children strive at recess in the yard - we passed a house that was little more than a swelling in the ground , The rooftop barely visible the cordice beneath the ground . We passed the setting sun , or , rather , he passed us - since then tis centuries and yet seems shorter than the day , I first surmised the horses heads were towards eternity . E . D .

Patois isn’t a language. It’s a term for any non standard dialect of any region. It’s an adjective. Not a noun. He is speaking a patois English of Jamaica. You can speak a patois Italian or a patois Farsi, for example.

Claire Forlani's acting in this scene is awful.the delivery of her lines feel so forced and her facial expressions looks like she has a stomach ache or something. She definitely didn't need to be in the scene.

For such a small role this woman played such a pivotal role and probably one of my favourite scenes of the whole movie. RIP to her 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️ I am HALF JAMAICAN and feel BRAD did a great job with his PATOIS 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I haven't figured out what the Doctor's smile is all about starting at the 0.34 mark! Is this a blooper they decided to leave in the movie? Is this her true response to Brad's speaking the native Jamaican language? What was the Doctor's smile and smirks all about? I just can't put my finger on it. Your thoughts?

Personally i am religious but i think even religious people would call me crazy, because at one point i believe i met my psychopomp, my angel of death, and in the darkest night they talked to me and told me that we all have a time, and mine isn't yet, and made me promise to stay a while

Where did the writer of this movie go? This person knew how to use a gerund “my being here“ where everyone else would say “me being here.“ Thank you thank you thank you for paying attention in English class, and having at least one person in a movie speak English correctly.

Again, i will always prefer this portrayal of death than the edgy stuff we've been exposed to. This version gave the woman some relief while also assuring her what is waiting for her at the end.
