You think so? Teach what exactly? That money is all that matters? That they can get rich selling booze illegally? That murder is just fine so long as it supports you making a buck? That violence, money and food is all they need in life? That all ended before you were even born "Robert S". Booze legal, violence brings to much trouble, money, that comes and goes like the wind, food, to much and you die of heart failure early in life, unhealthy, sick, and seen as week and lazy, selling illegal drugs, the four you can make high money off of, kill people and often times fast. Its all lots of problems, trouble and public notification, which means prison. Its not the 10's, 20's or 30's. I once met a very old Italian man who did a long term in prison, lost everything and had to sell out his friends, people he really cared for, because they were selling him out and planned on having him killed. For all his trouble, do you know what he got, NOTHING. Just stories and some notoriety and a long time in prison. This is the second time I have responded to you in this same manner, probably because google deletes it or I am behind a lan proxy or some other thing. Fact is, you should probably teach elementary kids not to do those things or be those ways, because eventually, everyone has to pay the piper. Short term goals for short term money is all it was. It would be better to teach the children how to run a good, fair, upright business and how to avoid all the troubles possible. Let me tell you a story, about what was left of that world and is left in this place I live in. There is this old building on the edge of town, 2 stories, 2 large main doors, a couple windows a ramp leading up to the doors, you can drive right past it, not even notice it. Sitting there like some old ghost no one notices. It smells of engine oil, old rotted away mash, grease, gasoline and steel rusting and wood rotting. Its gripped by black berry vines like hands reaching up from the earth to reclaim. That place sat there locked for many years, the building was hand built and its over 100 years old. You can't get into the bottom door, time has sealed it up good, would need a lot of work to get in. A broken window for the view in. I have been watching that building a long time, since I was a kid on a bike. Waiting to buy it and whatever is in it. One day, as I drove by, the doors had been unlocked, padlock removed, some wealthy people standing around wheeling it out and down the ramp. An extremely old motorized buggy. It still rolled, they loaded it up, and took it away I imagine. They left the doors wide open for a long time. A gapping mouth of emptiness, its last true treasure taken, just an empty open mouth. Like a corpse. That is what was left of that old world you think they should teach elementary children. All that was left of it here, was a dead, stinking, gaping mouthed rotting corpse of building after its grave had been robbed of its most valuable treasure. The criminal's fantasy always ends the same, loss. I have known and met many men from prisons, even my own family. You can have a long run, fun is fun and done is done and when its done its done.

A decent B movie that only managed to get to the big screen due to legends like F. Murray Abraham and Anthony Quinn. This has "DIRECT TO DVD" written all over it. The story it is trying to tell is epic. The transition of the MAFIA from the Old World to the New World(United States)via the Castallamerese War, and those instrumental in Americanizing the mob. This crime saga deserved a more epic film.
