I never ever forget that I had to spend almost 13 years of my life in forceful rehabilitation chambers of violent persecution and victimization and inhuman ragging violence and exploitation for being an outspoken gay person from 2008 to 2021 . That is 13 × 365 days and 13 × 365 nights of rehabilitation persecution and merciless exploitation and senseless violence and victimization . Somehow I managed to survive while many others passed away in this terrible tragedy . This is the truth .

It gets better yes I know about that but it’s also a cover up because not everybody has that luxury who happens to be gay and then is shunned from their family just for being who they are because of religion gets in the way of it The orange time it does inversely will be better so it’s true it does get better but not in a way that most people will except it just for being who they are and God does not hate you for it ond hating on gay people for the sake of being prejudiced about it that’s one thing that I will never be towards gay people I know people they have a big gate to personally and I happen to be one to employees coming out videos showed me who I was from the inside because I couldn’t hold a girlfriend but maybe someday I will come as myself Is just who you are inside and it’s no sind it can be used that way when it comes to rape and men look at men after they are married to their wives and with lust in their eyes and heart that God will look at it as sin but in my eyes being gay is not a sin unless it was that way but having love for someone is in fact different lust and love is 2 different attributes of what love is but keep your focus on God and Jesus Christ and he will meet you there but being gay is just who you are heart from the inside and God does not hate you for being who you are in my eyes and my heart says this to you not just me speaking out of ignorance and out of being religion or religious but I am not self-righteous I know bike experience I won’t worry about us in church but it does no matter to me or God for you being who you are from the inside or from the outside God will meet you there

Laughed about the prom date - mine was purely transactional. Neither of us really liked one another, lol. She was having a big party, I knew the people who wouldn't normally come, so it would help the draw. I think I ended up making out with some other girl in the laundry room - ok on top of a washing machine (an elaborate life of concealment in those days) The irony of it all is that I really did want to go to the prom with a girl who I genuinely liked, so maybe things weren't quite sorted yet. Her parents would not permit it - she was Korean, and if the guy wasn't going to be Korean, he at least had to be Asian, and as a white guy I just didn't cut it. Just goes to show there's always some preconceived preference waiting for you out there.

It’s a shame that sexual feelings are given so much emphasis in today’s culture. They really are an individuals own business. Who you love doesn’t affect anyone else so why it’s so important to others I don’t know. I’m glad you have come to terms with your sexual feelings. You cant fight a war with yourself. To feel like you have is completely normal. Now that your inner circle is aware of it you don’t have to be on your guard about it. Where are you? That is important because of the general attitudes of various areas of the country. I hope you are happy with someone. It makes life more agreeable.

Being Gay is NOT a choice. Being Bisexual IS a choice, i.e., being attracted to both sexes is a CHOICE. You choose either boy or girl. But being Gay, you're only attracted to the same sex (not a choice). Straight people are only attracted to the opposite sex. If a Straight person argues that it's a choice, all you need to say is the following: "You, who are straight, chose to be with the opposite sex. That means you were attracted to BOTH sexes and CHOSE the opposite sex, right?" You'll then hear a pin drop on the carpet, and he or she will be at a loss for words. God does not make mistakes in his infinite wisdom, where a certain percentage of the population is Gay. Why is a certain percentage of the population left handed, while the majority is right handed? Same analogy. Countless Gay, as well as Straight, are loving, caring, sharing, and productive human beings. Period and end of story.

The whole "coming out" concept is very damaging. It makes you admit there is something wrong with you. Did your brother or sister feel the need to come out as a hetro-sexual? No. Just arrive at your next family gathering with your partner and say "this is my partner". If any one has an issue it is their issue not yours. Don't pigeon hole, corn hole.

You make some great points here. I like how you acknowledge the diversity of the gay community as we should be treated as individuals and not be stereotyped. I, a non-straight person who will likely label myself as gay eventually, am also more reserved and less flamboyant, but I also don't want to be ashamed of enjoying more "gay" things such as female pop artists. I also relate to finding comfort in music, as Calum Scott's songs, especially "No Matter What," put me at ease. I am a college freshman who recently came out in my yearbook quote: "I started high school with straight A's...now I'm not even straight! I'm still me, though!" Then, inspired by stories like yours, I made my own coming out series. Keep being your authentic self!

Hey all, just checking in! Does anyone still follow me? Haven't logged in to my account in years. Just figured I'd give some life updates. Still out and very happy in life. I've learned coming out never really ends. Every time you meet someone new you have to eventually come out to them in some way. I've been working as a police officer for 4 years and everyone I work with is fine with the fact that I'm gay and nobody gives me any trouble. I've been extremely lucky to have had all positive reactions from coming out to friends/family/co-workers. Hope you all are doing well!

I never felt I was wrong or messed up. I think it was because my family not just mum and but Grand parents Aunties uncles all had pro gay out look . I can remember when I was 5 on a family holiday mid 1970s the was a gay couple stay at our hotel and my Grandmother heard some British being derogatory about them and she flip and gave these oeopke s verbal dressing down. I did not understand wgat was happening so my Gran sat me down and explained that these two men loved each other and they where a couple and that was normal and we shoukd never let people be bad or nasty to gay people. Then as I was growing up gay men where around mum hair dresser was often at the house mum employed homosexual in her business no made any homo comments So I realised at a young age I preferred men, I found the male body way more attractive. I use to do junior boxing. Wow being around those boys and men was like bring in my own fantasy. I never felt the need to come out as bring gay was normal.

Hey! I am indeed Irish (you can see part of an Irish flag above my head lol) and I am also Catholic. I wouldn't really say that's the reason why it was hard for me to accept myself though. I also don't really go to church anymore. I am doing much better now and I become a little more comfortable with myself every day. Thanks for asking!

Hey Dan, this is the first video of yours that I have watched. Your room and face tell me that you are Irish. Your guilt and shame about being gay [at least initially] tell me that you are Catholic. How am I doing so far? Much more importantly, how are you doing now? Thanks, buddy!

I knew something was afoot at 5 when ai saw the 16 yr old guys at the swimming pool. The 1964 Life Magazine series confirmed it, as did a series of steamy encounters with my14 yr old best friend. Lived the life of a lying spy until age 27 (my mother said it was either that or I was on drugs) when killing myself really did not seem like a wise move, and I took positive action to live a real life. Paul and I together 32 years now.
