I recently finished making my pnp machine. It has 95 feeds and is completely mechanical. accuracy 0.05-0.07mm. 3 vacuum nozzles. There is also a 3D printing function. I have 4 videos on my channel. It is interesting to know your opinion. kzitem.info/news/bejne/lYCGzWyAf5SIhqg - work demonstration The channel has 3 videos describing how it works

I've also made pnp machines.. just wonder what kind of feeder selection did you used.. It's placing 1 noozle for led chip and the other 1206 resistor.. Did you use reference tube feeder? That will take alot off string to set up.. Regards

Hello! Did you follow this guide when building your machine? I would love to build one exactly like yours with the parts feeders on the side like that as well. github.com/openpnp/openpnp-openbuilds/tree/1.0

I'm curious, what's the smallest component size you get a reliable placement on? Also, do you think a vision system would help?

So far i didn't had time to test it under 1206, but i think it would do well with 0805 and 0603. That is all i need.

There is more to add to this machine: automatic feeders, bottom vision camera, automatic nozzle change. Right now it has only top vision camera, but need some adjustments ( camera is too close to pcb, image is blurred )

hey, i am planning my own machine and i very much like the way you solved the feeder issue, this is a really nice design. How did you create the strip feeder holders? Is there anything on the openpnp forum?

I have a CNC and milled some PVC plastic to hold the strips. I think there are some examples, is simple to do if you have a CNC machine.
