I have the 4X4 version of this truck. 145,000 and no mechanical issues at all. I'll drive it into the ground. The 2.7 is a dog on the highway but the VVTI is snappy enough to keep up in city traffic. It's also no slouch off road.

Got a 2010 with a manual. 340k on it. I just did a valve cover gasket on it. Clean still could see the factory blue paint on the valve springs no sludge. They are great trucks if you maintain them!

OK!!! A HEADS UP PEOPLE 07 tacoma 2.7L There is a tube that runs from the side of the thermostat housing, between the engine block and intake manifold, to the back of the engine, it splits in 2, 1 for the heater core, and 1 to the throtal body as a pre warmer.. (ITS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC) 🤔😤 So Yea it ran HOT, BAD HOT!!! And that was at 150000 I hope many people read my comment!!!!! Its been down hill ever sents!!!! I had a 99, sold it with 300000 and it ran good as new!!! Why would a company so this?!?!

Nice video, thanks for showing the installation. Considering one of these, but have a few questions. The back section where the sheet metal jogs down before the rear cats, if you grab that rear turned up flange does the unit flex easily? That is an unsupported section and I was wondering if it is stiff enough with 1/8" aluminum sheet offer any resistance to bending and also vibration while driving due to air flow under the truck. Also did you buy this off of Amazon? I ask because the pictures on the website does not look like your part. There is no sheet metal jog down or bend. The entire sheet is flat. Wondering if there was a earlier version and they didn't update their ad on Amazon. Lastly, are you still happy with the unit and did it protect your cats from any dirt-bags? Thanks for your help!

1. When mounted the guard is very stiff. I’m not able to bend it by hand at all. It was sturdy right out of the box too, but I think being mounted around the frame adds to the rigidity. I wouldn’t use it as a skid plate per se, but I don’t think anyone would ever be able to roll underneath and bend it in anyway. 2. I’ve never noticed any vibration or noise. I spend most of my time driving on the highway at 70 mph and I don’t notice anything. 3. I bought it straight off of Amazon. It was the cheapest aluminum guard I could find and even the cheaper steel models typically came out to be more expensive with shipping charges. Overall I’m very happy with the guard. Catalytic converter theft isn’t as common where I live, but even after lifting the truck 4” and running bigger tires, I haven’t had anyone attempt to steal my cats. At the end of the day if someone really wants them they’ll do whatever they need to to get them, but every cat guard is just a deterrent anyway. I think this one works just as good as any other option. Thanks for reaching out!

Definitely not edible and doesn't belong in stores. Gross sauce. How do people who green light this still have jobs? You might as well just pick up some dollar noodles that have much better sauce and just add water. More filling and doesn't make you cringe with every bite. Asian culture definitely knows better than chef boyardee.

I just tried the Chef Boyardee Chicken Alfredo. I didn't expect much actual chicken, but it was there. Definitely great flavor! I would add a can of chicken chunks, all it needs is more meat, which wasn't expected.

hello would you lift this truck..any recommendations from anyone who knows
@oldmanmillennial5375
2 жыл бұрын
I actually lifted it with the fat bobs 2.75 lift plus add a leaf in the rear. It was great, but I noticed the added wind resistance with the lift. I drove a lot on the highway and on windy days the truck would constantly be down shifting because of the added wind resistance. If you don’t get on the highway often you probably won’t have the issue I did. My plan was to add 31s after the lift, but it really would have needed a regear.
