I’ll bet you could have gone to a home improvement store, bought a piece of peg board (made out of MDF), stopped for lunch and gotten home in half the time it took to drill all of those holes.

Is 80 degrees the max? For ABS plastic, you need about 160 degrees. Can you increase the heat? Thank you for the video.

There's pvc glue, no need for epoxy plastic, screws would be better than the glue, mdf is not resistant but is porous, there are a lot of improvements

Gday mate I am in the planning process and looking at using nic wire insted of the 2 heaters i have in my starter former. i see you have a dimmer switch im just curiouse since i have looked at a nic wire calculator, if the dimmer switch just alters the heat produced by the wire or if its changing to entire volts/amps being delivered. since my calculations are for using a 5v/2amp phone charger per heated section with 14 awg nic wire which gives 500c+ of heat if the dimmer switch would allow for me to adjust the heat as needed for different thicknesses of matterials. thanks for the video and plans btw.

In the demonstration of the safety features at the end of the video, it shut off after 25 minutes and a temperature of around 180 F. Is this as hot as it gets in that time? Can it get hotter than 180 F and can it get up to that hot more quickly?
