Could you please let us know your entire comic making process? I'm very stuck on how to set up my vertical scroll pages for the purpose of thumbnailing multiple pages at ones (to see the overall storytelling decisions) and how to use thumbnails to move to final sketches! And how to slice the pages to upload and how to maintain quality while doing so! Any many more!

Hello! I wonder how did you make the floor motive
@UltimatePerfection
5 ай бұрын
This is amazing way, one thing I would do though (apology if it was mentioned, but I am currently a little short on time so can't watch in full) is to trace over the 3D backgrounds and stuff, just to make them consistent with the rest of your art which may have different kind of shading or be more/less detailed. This also allows you to change some details about it, such as e.g. the floor pattern, what's on the shelves/counters, or the colors that you wouldn't normally be able to had you just plopped the 3d model in.

I'm so thankful for this tutorial! creating comics, manga or webtoons are sooo time consuming that it appears almost impossible to do it regularly while having to maintain a full-time job, but using this method will at the very least cut about 3/4 out of the time that it takes to create a manuscript, Thank you!!

You can perhaps save the guide lines in your art program, and use a symmertrical tool for the front view. It's nice to save also that line art as a material item, (shape of the head) without details for future use in digital art stuff!

yeah i think i'll create it all and upload at once but honestly that could change! i feel u on that i get new ideas all the time when i'm writing and luckily for me they always end up improving and fitting into the plot. i think as long as you know the beginning, climax and end of your story then getting new ideas is fine!

5:24 I really needed to hear this, and I know I'll need to hear it again and again. I can draw pretty decently now but I keep delaying ultimately due to the fear of getting fed up with how my art looks, or not being able to draw something. So I'm doing tonnes of studies now even though I know I'll never be ready to start
@salem7622
Жыл бұрын
yess that's the way!! you could try doing studies and then something for your webtoon even if its just drawing one random panel. once you keep creating and see yourself actually improving then you'll be much more motivated!

@@salem7622 right on! I actually made a short comic last week (5 panels) or so and it took 3 hours or so. It was tough, especially since I didn't use 3d models or add a background, but it's sooo satisfying to look at!

@@swisdom9117 NICEEE I'M PROUD OF U!!! It definitely is satisfying to finish something even if it's small bc you're proving to yourself that you can actually do it and you will just get better and better as long as you stick to it
