Roland JU-06a for the main synth part Korg DW-8000 style vst for high pitched electric piano parts. I think it's called fb7999. K1vm vst for the bass track TapeMelloFi plugin for tape saturation and warble effect. Thanks for listening.

I love it! Sounds like it came right out of a video game. I imagine it as start screen music. Or maybe even ambient music while the player navigates an underground sewer level. Total random thought: the vibe fits REALLY well for overworld navigation music from this game called No Umbrellas Allowed

I love the addition of the tv static/ rolling like an old vhs tape over the video! Just makes it feel that much more authentic. I like this one, but not one of my faves.

Super cool, yo. Feels like an opening credits track- I see a pan out from a soldier's corpse on a muddy medieval battlefield, then halfway through we fast forward 1500 years to the effects wrought by his death in the modern day. Subbed!

Hey! I'm new to the microbrute (and synthesis in general)... In this case, how did you route the mod wheel to have that volume swell? I loved the session!

I sold my Microbrute a while ago, and unfortunately, I can't remember... but I think the modwheel was routed to cutoff frequency 🤷♂️

I have seen this keyboard in a second hand shop on 2 occasions including buying one in 2010 but at the last minute I changed my mind and returned it partly because one of the keys didn't respond and also I was worried my parents wouldn't approve of me buying another keyboard. But maybe I might buy another Yamaha PSS-270 in the future as it's only a small keyboard. Even though this one doesn't have digital synthesizer it does still have some really presets.

I used one of the extra LFO shapes found in the menu on the JU-06a. I think it was "Random 2". Turn the cutoff frequency down so it sounds warm and modulate the cutoff just a tiny bit with the random LFO. Give the envelope a nice long release time and you should be pretty close to what I had there, as far as I can remember. I also added external reverb! And delay with lots of feedback either from the JU-06a or external... can't remember. Hope this helps, thanks for the nice comment!

Excellent performance you’re a genius. I assume you’re using a few sounds from this portasound. I’ve owned loads of keyboards over the years including similar ones to yours. I create multi track recordings as a pure hobby. Please visit me here on youtube thanks 😅

Thank you! All the sounds came from this keyboard except for the drum samples. I put a flanger effect on the bass and reverb on some of the sounds butt they all were played right on the PSS-460. I'll check your channel out, thanks for the comment!

@@realmsofficialmusic1398 it sure goes to show these all vintage keyboards. Don’t sound very much on their own, but once you put them through an effects processor, and multi track them, they sure sound far better, and yes, I understand at least, a handful of these sounds descend from the Yamaha, DX7 and others. So yes, these FM sounds aren’t too bad or certainly most of them, but when I put through an effects processor, again, it sure enhances the sound, and I thought the drum size were different, but yes, again your composition is very very good mate and I occasionally write some of my own stuff as a pure hobby.

Very cool! The main title is such a vibe. I can easily imagine the little scuba diver swimming around to check out fish, plants, and caves. I love how the end theme evokes similar musical themes but in a more serious tone - almost sounds like a low brass instrument. And the cover art is perfect! Really nails the art style. Would love to hear more!

It's been so long... All I can remember is using one of the "Random LFOs" to slightly modulate the pitch. I think it was "Random 2" when you search for the extra LFO shapes in the menu. Hope that helps a little 🤷♂️
