Thanks for showing how much care and effort goes into making a perfect face frame. I used this tutorial today to make my first one between two cabinets I built. I made the mistake of taking the measurement and didn't have the system you said. I ended up about 1/8 of an inch short on the middle vertical 1x2 because of it.

I want one of those but sheesh 2000 plus the cost of all those clips it's just super pricey. Is it worth it? I would say it is. But at the same time. I don't know that I would use it enough. One thing that nobody talks about this system is limitations. What are the limitations of this product?

It is expensive! I suppose its value is assessed in the time it saves and the ease of application. I’d say if you do 4 large cabinets projects a year or more, it’s worth it. Limitations: using it outside its intended purpose.

Every single corner clamp “square” on Amazon has at least 1 comment with a picture showing that they are not square.

This seems like a really overcomplicated way to do this. I see several better ways that would be a lot easier. First, you could glue it and brace the face with some 2x4s or twist braces. If you can't brace it putting a few nails in with a finish gun would do the trick. Second, you can get tacks that go behind the face and nail into both sides when you hit it with a mallet. Third, you can do what professional cabinet builders do and build the entire cabinet and glue the face on while holding it with clams, then put it in.

Well that looks like a very handy option for face frames. It would be great when having to custom fit a cabinet and scribing the stiles.

@@kenovryn I see no addition of structural strength by adjusting the dado. It looks to be mostly made from solid oak. Drawer faces cover it and the name of the game is typically time. The time saved on set up, times many many drawers equals more profit.
