Enjoyed video found it interesting and informative. I wouldve saved the non streaked seeds tho after pulling out wouldve just poted them in another container those ones tho as just plants i could trade with other gardeners..🌱

I absolutely love what you have created! So many great ideas that I will be trying out right away for some of my challenging areas. May I ask how you what products you use to keep the slugs, bunnies and deer at bay?

Iol i thought same thing but he did state he was looking for ones that had specific look, myself i wouldve potted up all seeds even if the seedling wasnt looking for specific look and traded the greens ones with other gardeners..

You have created absolutely beautiful shade gardens! I’ve enjoyed this video tour so much, I must have replayed it dozens of times. I do hope you will do another video garden tour this summer! I am a shade gardener as well and enjoy the peaceful, lush foliage you can get in the shade. It’s easy on the eye and is my serenity. Wishing you the best with your seedlings. Maybe someday they will be available for sale. Happy gardening! 😊 🌱☀️

In video #3 you had 100% plantaginea babies and plantaginea baby crosses, I assume by open pollination. Did you pollinate the plantaginea yourself with other plantaginea? How do you get them 100% plantaginea? Really enjoyed your videos by the way! Thank you!
@davidteager

Because plantaginea blooms at night even with open pollination, they are certainly self pollinated.

Would a fragrant bloom hosta produce fragrant seedling. These bloom much later than any others so im assuming they are self polinated.

There is a good possibility, but it is never certain that seed from a fragrant hosta will produce a fragrant plant.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Where did you learn about hostas? I was wishing you would go into more info;). I nerd out on this stuff. I harvested some seeds from a hosta I have. Not sure of the species. From what you said, is it even possible to absolutely KNOW the species?

Im a newer seed growing gardener and would be so excited to grow some hostas. I have 2 in my garden, but i havent seen them flower. Is there any chance you could spare a few so i may join in? I would be so greatful, and understanding if you aren't able to as well. I hope to see more of your videos, you're a great instructor, i appreciate you being so detailed too. Thank you so much for making the videa, hope to hear back 🌞

So I took some seeds from my daughter's huge hosta plants when the seeds pods turn brown and open. How do it know if the actual seeds are good or bad? do you water them as a seed? How long does it take to see a stem sprout 🌱

I didn't realize how beautiful a Monochromatic garden could be. Do you have issues with snakes? I am having that problem here in East Texas, copperheads seem to love hiding in the foliage.
