For a country to be the "Giant of Africa" as Nigeria and her people so proclaim, I think it needs to tick the most basic boxes like modern/proper infrastructure, multiple safe and modern modes of transportation, good roads, an above average standard of living and overall leader in how an African country is supposed to look. And for the noise they make I don't see it, its a beautiful country in some areas much like any other country but its nowhere near what the people of Nigeria claim it to be, it pales in comparison to Egypt(with its own problems), Morroco, Botswana and South Africa etc. It might be the giant of west africa but the continent as a whole has some really big and powerful countries that are setting the standard.

But how long will the Lagos trains run at below half capacity? They destroyed Igbo shops and now the traders that would have helped fill up the trains can't go to their shops, so the trains are always empty. So how can the trains survive, especially given the growing unemployment from Tinubu's bad economy😄

You can say that again I wonder myself. If you live abroad this will shock you that the Nigerian government doesn't care about normal people talk less of people with disabilities....it's so pathetic. To me this train station and everything look substandard. Lagos as a big city should have underground metro lines to connect neighboring states to the city center this will help decongest and reduce traffic gridlock on the road. Anyways maintenance is the key not that the next governor will sell them and scatter the project. Because our biggest problem is continuity in governance.

Please inform the Lagos State to clean the platform and the environment around the stations before the official opening date. I noticed each coach has only two entrances, this makes it difficult for the evacuation of the people in case of emergency situations. Congratulations to the Lagos State Government for this intensive money gulping project. Lagos Government has big “Balls” to take huge projects like this. Congratulations. Thank You.

That's not entirely true. Every govt has their own infrastructures. For example, the TTC is owned by the city of Toronto, while the GO train is by the provincial govt while the VIA Rail is by the govt of Canada. The interconnectivity Rail tracks are mostly owned by the CN Rail which is owned by the govt of Canada. In the same vein, the red line runs on the tracks owned by the NRC, which is owned by the federal govt. The blue line is solely owned by the Lagos state govt and so will be the green and other lines. In Nigeria, the only city that can afford railway lines are far and few in between and the same is applicable all over the world.

Have you ever visited Western countries before? This is how the light gauge rail system is constructed, so it will only have two entrances and exits for each coach.
