So it's been 13 years now. How did installation go and are you still happy with it.

Bit pointless having a fallout shelter that has a generator that you have to access by getting out of the shelter. Not seeing an air filtration system either

Another "bunker expert" with no clue. How long do you expect the hydro working in a SHTF scenario? Do you think for one second, it will work in a "nuclear" attack? EVERY break in the outside skin of your shelter, is a way in for an "EMP" to enter your shelter and KILL all your toys. THEN, my friend, all your toys won't work. No hydro, no lights, no hot water, no water because that won't work either. The municipal water works uses electricity to pressurize the lines so guess what? No water. No stove either. What are you going to do? Cooped up 10 feet underground, dark, cold, hungry cause you can't cook anything on the stove (LOL). To top it all off, you can't see your hand in front of your face unless you have a flashlight, because your air handler, which also runs on electricity, has stopped, so someone has to turn the crank, by hand, 24 hours a day. IF, you have a generator, how much gas do you have? Because it could be MONTHS you are down there. So, you are going to die if you stay down there, and you're going to die if you come up too soon. What's you gonna do, bright boy?

Hahaha. 185G without a kitchen ????Good lord. Hahaha. Just bring a cooler down there with refrigerated items then??? Complete with an easy to reach generator so the enemy can turn on and off the power at their convenience to screw with the people inside??😂😂😂. People will be bailing out from lower back pain from those chain beds. Would expect a lot more for 185g's

I was thinking about installing a 400 square foot underground shipping container about 10 feet underground. About how much would this cost? I’m really looking to use this area as a root cellar and tornado shelter, and living in it while Zi build my tiny home

That vent that you showed towards the end of the video can let in nuclear fallout and give everyone inside radiation poisoning. Not only that if you truly want the bunker NBC proof you will have to weld that vent shut. Or attach an NBC filter to it.

Not meaning to be a kill joy but what use is an NBC shelter with a fan and vent hole to the outside if there is chemicals about, and like other people have said give me reinforced concrete any day; i do think some people need to think a little harder because although i don't want to face a nuclear war or even rising sea levels there are a lot of people going to be caught out by not thinking outside the box. Take some who get together a bug out bag or bug out vehicle what use will either be if you can't take your gas mask off to eat or drink and if its an E.M.P. how many vehicles are even going to move, the only winners out of this are those who make and sell all the different items and the TV companies okay you might get a few hundred bucks or pounds in our Case but COME ON everyone who knows you will be coming to visit you and you are advertising everything you are doing. Okay you have guns in America and even if we are not allowed what you are it doesn't mean we can;t make some crude guns and other weapons to help keep us alive after all when S.H.T.F all laws go out the window and its simply do what you must to survive even if that means killing your friends i know that's wrong but if it comes to it so be it after all our governments have been doing it for years and saying its okay.

Mike Bailey It has ventholes outside but it has an NBC filter. It filters Nuclear Chemical and Biological agents giving you clean air. You can also add an air scrubber and have the vents shut. Also these get buried 5 feet underground and covered in reinforced concrete.
@Blueguy72

@@shawnhornett they actually get buried 25 feet underground. At least if you wish to have nuclear radiation protection that is adequate!
