Back in the early 2000's when Cineplex Odeons started including IMAX projections in their theaters, I started training to run these projections. They sound exactly like this and require ear plugs if you're right next to them.

not imax film cameras, way better than any digital camera because of the complexion of the large format film. Imax film is supposed to hold theoretically 18k resolution, and imax 70mm film is projected at a very large screen, making it the most immersive theater experience and the highest imaging format out there.

funny enough, film productions still going strong, specially IMAX, digital is the new norm but film has become a sort of premium that people ARE interested in consuming.

What about archival? and when our digital scanning gets better and better you will be able to get more and more quality out of the film print because, in a nutshell, it's better than digital. It's not a waste of money - It's future-proofing.

I shot in 16mm once and when it was time to show the clapperboard we used to shoot literally FRAMES so we wouldn´t waste any film. These guys are shooting in IMAX and man how much film is wasted before the action starts! (They have money, I know, but still...).

Then they remove this noise someway or just don't use the sound captured in the same moment? The cast dub the entire scene?
