this song i used to love and listened to a lot 10 years ago just came back in my recommendations, and... my mental state is still the same as it was 10 years ago... everything will always be the same, forever. life fucking sucks.

as a combat marine with depression and ptsd and addiction, AIC has given me an outlet. a validity i can not find among mankind since returning home from overseas. i disagree respectfully that the tragedy is what dies inside us. i have no idea what the fuck that means. my private hell is here in the States on the East Coast mourning every morning and living with a false hope. all the what ifs and twelve steps and brick and mortar institutions are slowly bleeding me to death. not to mention the heartache when someone im in love with must simply move on to find a future with someone more balanced and who clearly can not understand what it means to live inside Alice in Chains, from Layne up to this story/poetry/song and beyond. Best of luck to all of you who suffer and continue this uphill forced march. And to the suicides, I miss youse all very, very much and I'll hold down the fort down here but please continue your overwatch from a strategical and tactical position. amen

Brother ur not alone.im a army grunt Airborne/Ranger Regt.if u ever need to talk you hit me up some way I give you my number.way it feels sometimes is We are all we have.civilians tellin me it's over etc."thankyou for ur service"really did I jus hear u say u voted for the essentially neo american commies really how much farther away from the Constitution;they never read ;can you be?! But they have the nerve to spit in the grave of every service member that dint come home(Affirmative America u spit on their graves when you turn on what They died for &home is also a relative term, home, not so sure it's safe to truly call it"home")I drive on,best I can like one of our real deal bros who probly dint come back.blessings brother.im here if and when.out.👍
