Makes you wonder how many more of these are hiding in storage or in museums.

So just like the 64 Caddy Convertible you posted, nice car. You answered yes when asked if it was for sale. How does somebody reach you? @CMRPrivateCollection doesn't seem to be a working link.

Just hours ago I had a similar You Tube video pop up choice on the 1957 Pontiac Bonneville. These 2 years (now) don't seem that different from each other anymore.

One of my favorite years for the Eldorado convertible! So sporty looking with the rear tire exposed and no fender skirt! There was a triple black one i would see every once in awhile at the local dealership where it was serviced! Elegance personified indeed!! This model would fit nicely with my 57 Eldorado Biarritz and 85 Eldorado Biarritz!

Beautiful. That engine bay! Looks like she just rolled off the Assembly Line. Most restorations forget the bay. In love till the hood/bonnet is popped, then, disappointed

EARLY TO MIDDLE 1970'S PONTIAC'S WERE NOT CADILLAC'S OR LINCOLN'S, BUT STILL A LARGE BEAUTIFUL LUXURY AUTOMOBILE . CATALINA, BONNEVILLE, GRANDVILLE , CONVERTIBLES, ALL SHOW CLASS WORK'S OF ART. THEN ..... THERE'S TODAY'S PLASTIC SARAN WRAP COOKIE CUTTER CAR'S...🤮🤮

Sorry Tommy, but except for a few 4-foor sedans, there aren't any "cars" now at all. Just SUV's, trucks and crossovers. Cookie cutter transportation appliances. Ugghk.

I got to drive dad's 64 Fleetwood once in a while at 16 year's old. It felt like I owned the world. It had every option available. 8 power windows, foot rests in the back, twilight sentinel, climate control and so much more.

How did the Autronic eye wind up on top of the dashboard? I thought in 1964 they moved it to the top of the left front head lights in the form of a glass prism.

If it was factory installed, the sensor was above the driver side headlights, incorporated into the fender trim, as you stated. If, say, you purchased a car off the lot that didn't have it, and you wanted it, the system could be installed by the dealer. With the dealer installed system, the sensor on top of the instrument panel was used instead, like the 63 models were. That's what this car has.

I had a ‘64 DeVille 4W sedan. First year of the annoying auto climate control. Transmission and electrical problems: every time I ran the a/c then shut off the motor, it needed to be jump-started. Not a fan of this year of Cadillac.

Can you imagine driving around in this machine in 1964? That was a time when only the wealthy drove these kind of cars. They didn’t have 7 years to pay a car off with a high monthly payment you can’t afford.
