Everything you have said about proximity, stand steepness and atmosphere was being said about the Spurs Stadium when we were all getting excited about it, and it is BRILLIANT, and the extra revenue has made the club rich again so it can once again afford to compete at the top table… BUT… atmosphere is generated by fans responding to the football being played. When a big stadium is packed with bored fans, the silence is deafening. But THFC Stadiium, an acoustic bowl with 63250 fans, when rocking, will be hard to beat.

This is such a weak effort. The only comparison you actually make to the Spurs stadium is that it's based "slap-bang in the middle of North London". Yeah, because that's where Tottenham is! 🤣🤣 Last time I looked, the district of Everton wasn't on the waterfront! But I'm sure the working class fans will appreciate the jetty for water taxis 🤣 When you mention soulless bowls, you don't use the Spurs stadium as an example, you use Arsenal and West Ham's instead! And when you talk about the stadium rake angle, again you don't compare it to the Spurs stadium, you compare it to Dortmund's! 🤣🤣

“The district of Everton” … it’s very clear you have no idea what you’re talking about. Everton has never been in Everton it’s basically a tiny road nearby. The video is comparing and contrasting the two stadiums including location, what’s better.. a stadium in the middle of Tottenham or a stadium on an iconic waterfront with magnificent views, access and surroundings? Plans for water taxi’s aren’t going to be luxurious they will be reasonably priced and it’s punching down from you to suggest a working class fan wouldn’t be able to afford one. Dortmund were mentioned because they had the steepest stand.. now Everton do. Thanks for watching

@@StadiaStudy I didn't realise Everton's stadium wasn't in Everton, fair enough. But you haven't done your research properly either. The steepest angle at Dortmund is 37°, at Tottenham it's 35° and at Bramley Moore Dock it'll be 33°. And it's silly to claim that Tottenham's stadium is in an inferior position. It's in the middle of the residential area the club grew from. That's an increasing rarity these days, it's not something to sneer at because you're trying to big up your riverside location. Look, I hope your new stadium is amazing, but you should try to enjoy it on its own merits, rather than making a comparison video full of spurious claims and incorrect info. It just comes across as a bit desperate.

Biased romantic rubbish, has he even been to the THS? there is a reason Spurs are making so much money, the fans get there early and leave late, they wouldn't do that if it wasn't a great place to be, the atmosphere has been incredible at times, and the money generated by being multi-purpose will see us be a huge player financially , Everton are missing a huge trick by ignoring this, will generate a bit more income, but wont exploit the potential of building a new stadium from scratch, its a lovely looking ground, but not in the same league as the THS.

I’m a spurs supporter whose second fav side has always been Everton. Always loved away games at the old school Goodison Park. So glad to see Everton’s new ground taking shape, it’s going to be an impressive addition to the premier league. But some of the comparisons to the Tottenham stadium just aren’t true. Spurs had 2 main criteria when it came to the supported experience at the new stadium, 1/ get them as close to the pitch as possible, 2/ make the acoustics the best they could be to ensure a loud atmosphere. Soulless is one thing the Tottenham stadium definitely isn’t !! Although the laws may have changed since the ground was built, the south stand at 35 degrees was the steepest allowed at the time. Bramley dock isn’t world famous - anyone south of Wigan has barely heard of it ….and any yacht travelling there can only be lost ! All that said - it’s going to be a great place to visit, I hope it’s the beginning of a significant up turn for the club.

@@StadiaStudy I'm sure you're excited as an Everton fan, but the you don't go to a football game to look at the view, especially the Liverpool skyline, no offence. (Also the "largest singe stand" thing is a cliche at this point, a few hundred seats more than the next doesn't make much of a difference). The steep stands thing is good, and the stadium will probably be nice, but that doesn't change the fact that Goodison is completely unique with a 130 years of history in it, and this new stadium looks like a lot of others. @@larsivar8772The surroundings of any stadium are massively important, of course they are especially when the stadium is purposely made out of glass to absorb the unique architecture and an outstanding view of the river Mersey. The Liverpool skyline is one of the most unique in the world. The sight of the the Royal Liver Building (the first ever major construction in Britain) the jewel in the crown, adorned by two Liver Birds, is the city’s signature landmark and Liverpool holds more precious Italian Renaissance Greek Revival and Edwardian Baroque style architecture than anywhere else in the world. This will all be viewable from the skyline bars inside Everton’s new stadium. It’s very ironic you’re saying the “type of thinking comes from America” when it’s a video comparing the new unique Everton stadium to Tottenhams stadium which is basically just a template basic American NFL stadium design. You also made a comment about Everton’s “looking like the others” when in fact it’s Tottenhams that has no unique features. If you show a black and white picture of Tottenhams stadium to someone and show them a pic of Everton new stadium to someone, they wouldn’t have a clue it belongs to Spurs whilst Everton’s they will know in an instant.
