Absolute, pure, unbridled JOY. Thank God they came in the age of film so we can still watch them over and over.

Fantastic moves .some may say they just do it like it comes so natural. It say yes because they have a gift most don't. Come easy no . They definitely work to make it happen because they have to love it. That takes working at loving what your doing. That works up to becoming exelent at what you do. If most of us try and work like that our Freinds will have to visit us in the Emergency room. 😁.

I have been a dance, teacher, and a dance, professional for many years. Besides the incredible dancing of the Nicholas brothers, Fred Astaire, Jim, Kelly, etc. their movies were made with a limited amount of edits. Their bodies are always shown in full figure such a joy and beautiful to watch. Today it is impossible to watch dance with all of the choppiness and multiple edits.

The Nicholas Brothers were like black versions in duplicate of Fred Astaire, with their incredible ease, class, style, n power n athleticism that knew no bounds!!! Gotta love ❤️ Can Callaway n his band as well!!! Wasn't Fayard married to Dorothy Dandridge?! I have been watching them since the 1950's with my Mom n Dad in old movies over n over again for years!!!! They are, bar none, incredible dancers, both of them, both Harold n Fayard!!!! Thanks for posting this incredibly enigmatic n classic routine of theirs!!! You have made my 🌉🌃 night!!!!

Some of the greatest tap dancing ever put on film. The Hines Brothers were good too, but the Williams Brothers were legendary.

One thing that's always amazed me in this dance is their upper/lower body isolation....legs are going like gangbusters and upper bods barely move (aside from the arms) And I don't even know how they could WALK after the stair bit.

It would be hard to outdo these two men in dancing. If Gregory Hines says they are great, they are Great! I remember watching Hine, Hines and Dad on The Ed Sullivan Show growing up and thought that they were great. Greatness comes in many degrees and the Nicholas Brothers are #1 in my opinion. If I am correct, Harold was in Tap as one of the elderly men that competed in the dance with Gregory. My favorite part of that movie was the "Competition" dance. 😊
