be careful when reassembling the bolt and striker, if you pull the dont pull the trigger at all and force it, it can tear the striker oring causing a leak

I just got mine. Is it okay to leave t15 and FSC magazine fully loaded in storage? Or will this ruin the spring over time
@pnwguy5945
Жыл бұрын
Congrats on your new marker! I would highly discourage you from leaving the magazine loaded in storage, that is very hard on the spring and it will lose it's strength over time if left compressed with rounds in it. That would also put pressure on the paintballs (rounds or FS) and cause indentations which would affect accuracy

Thanks for the quick response. Im very new to this, can you explain the charging handle? I was able to shoot without pulling it back. But other videos are saying don’t add the thank unless it’s cocked. I had a burst of air when I first added and even removed the tank. I order an on/off adapter, but any tips on how to properly do this? I don’t understand the changing handle mechanism. Also: is it okay to store with the tank attached if I have an on/off switch?

@@K9Mike I don't own nor have I tried the DMR so I can't compare the two, but as far as my model with FSR it is awesome. The barrel that came with mine (I still use the stock one) is not rifled. I don't care for it much with round ball but FSR is the way to go with this marker in my opinion. If I'm on a field that doesn't allow FSR or I want to save $$ and use roundball I'll use my TMC or Stormer Elite if I still want to play magfed

@@kalebdoom7944 I put the tape measure on the barrel off mine, 15''! That's overall length, from the front tip to the back tip. I don't believe so, but you can convert the elite to a tactical or basic since you can remove the mag well on the elite. If you can add a mag well on the tactical that is something I can't answer since I don't own the tactical version. I wish I could be more helpful on answering your question :(

Thanks for this video. I have this exact gun and its been sitting in my attic for around 18 years! Do you know if the Spyder O ring kits that say 09/10 on Amazon will work?
@pnwguy5945
2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome, I'm hopeful this video motivates you to rebuild it and get back in the game! I took a long break too and I regret not getting back sooner! Regarding the kits on Amazon I'm not sure, but the best way to find out is look in your owners manual will tell you which o-ring numbers to buy. I bought my rebuild kit from ansgear.com and picked out the O-ring numbers and placed the order. I rebuilt it and it works just like new. The original o-rings literally fell apart when I touched them after sitting in storage for many years. If you lost your owners manual you can find it on google. I didn't replace my #11 O-rings since I found a lot of people saying they usually don't have any issues unless you mess with them so to start don't take those pieces apart. I didn't and I have had no leaks. If your marker has been in storage I would recommend replacing your striker o-ring and your #015 80D O-rings but leave your #11s in unless you find they do have a leak after replacing all the other O-rings. ''Spyder Xtra 2003 Manual'' would be a good start to locate your manual if its missing. Good luck on your rebuild and welcome back to the sport!

Does the feedneck have threads from the one you got on eBay?

No, it just drops in place of the existing factory one, reusing the screws that clamped down the factory feedneck to the marker body. And the hopper attachment is a clamp that is adjustable.
