Morning Mick this has been the perfect antidote to a grey rainy morning. The music really complimented the scenery and for eighteen minutes or so I was there with you. I doubt the BBC could have done any better. 👍

Morning Mick. In 2013, Ann and I did a coastal tour of Britain in our MK5 Transit (non Turbo) campervan. In Lynmouth, I missed the suggested left turn for caravans, which would have been the best way to go. So, unaware, we continued up the hill…..scary, just plodding up in first gear, which was made worse by a convoy of expensive 4x4’s who ignored the STOP sign on the junction on the right, all pulled out in front of us, with the last one causing us to stop 🤬. A horrible hill start, and crawl to a flatter part further up, where we pulled in, to give the van and me time to recover 😳😂 Nice ride.

Thanks for taking a look Hugh. I had very little time on this trip for anything other than riding and sleeping, my focus was entirely on getting to Cornwall. I did get there after three long days and had 3 long and very cold days riding back. The series of videos has almost reached the end of Day 3, I hadn't originally intended to show as much of the trip as I have but a few asked for the whole ride so that's what I'm doing. Your appreciation is very welcome Tim, you obviously know what's involved in making a long series and at times I wish I hadn't started, but so far I've managed to get my enthusiasm back after a few weeks away from it. I have a meditative ride I want to publish at the weekend, just the sound of the bike along a beautiful road, then I'll be back into the end of Cornwall Day 3 before starting the long ride home on Day 4. My biggest problem with the cameras was that I didn't have enough time before the Cornwall trip to test them on Bobby and get the setup right, so I was doing the testing and fixing the problems as I went. I had more problems on the way back, partly because I was getting tired but mostly because I and the cameras were too cold, all that's to come though. I haven't ridden one of the modern parallel twin Hondas but from what I've seen and heard in videos the old v-twin engine has a lot more character and it was the same with the v-four engine.
